It's nice to see an artist dancing to their own music in a non choreographed way. If your music doesn't fill you with emotion how can you expect it to elicit a response in others? Truly amazing.

@@Davidjball86 No, the top end of the cymbal stand came loose. Happened to me once, life and at the beginning of a song. Just a nice scream to warn the band members and the intro became a little longer so i could let the bass player help me.

I love how she just totally gets into it at the end.
I've watched a lot of tonight show performances. This is one of the best I've seen. She's magnetic. I've seen this a dozen times and it still gives me that warm happy feeling. Her performance is both confident and self conscious, but completely sincere. Her dancing is infectious. The song is simple and played with tact. The emotion comes through via how genuine this all is. Fantastic.
Her eyes alone just show much spirit.

s i m p there were plenty of missed notes, but that doesn't really matter. Still an incredible live performance from an excellent singer. Something doesnt need to be perfect for it to be really really good, she's live, live performances come with missed notes.

Yeah, I personally enjoy the song quite a bit which makes me feel bad, and you can tell that Aurora doesn’t like performing it because it was quite different from her usual performances. Knowing now that she has grown to accept this song makes me feel better but this performance in particular just isn’t her.
when did she say that lol? on one of the live performances she said this was one of her only ~happy~ songs and that it was a nice break from all her sad songs, also brought good memories back since she wrote this one together with her band, doesn`t sound like "made to be mainstream" whatsoever to me. She also said it's good because she can dance to it, which also contradicts the "don't like to perform it". bruh...

I think that she wasn't lying when she said that it's a fun song, very different from the other ones on the album, but in the film she said that she does not enjoy performing it, because the harmonies and vibe were too "mainstream". Her manager kinda forced her to release a "radio song" (a song short enough to be on the radio), and she said that if she ever has to do something like that in the future, she will stop making music altogether...

Why as someone who has seen 48 years of pain and taunting demons find painful inspiration and beauty in the art of this young pixie. Her words are very profound to be coming from such a youthful creature. Perhaps her soul is older than the physical chemistry which carries it.

There's so much emotion in this one, she almost cries numerous times... I just can't get past the uniqueness of this girl... I mean honestly with how shitty so many musicians are, she just really does the name and profession justice and that's putting it mildly... She seems to always be in a good, fun-loving, empathetic, respectful, genuine, caring mood.. She gives a shit ton of herself to the audience I sure hope people can see that, when you do something like that on stage so often it really doesn't leave much of yourself.. well for yourself... Saw her in Chicago tonight. It was freaking incredible. The passion behind her music is palpable. She nailed every note on her setlist, and the amazing part is that she did it all with a broken voice and didn't miss a beat. Outstanding dedication. She earned the love and respect of every person in that venue tonight.
