Whenever a Thai woman tells you she can’t do something because her Brother has come to visit or she wants her Brother to come out for dinner/ on a trip etc just be aware Brother is her Thai boyfriend/ Husband.
The Brother story from Thai girls is a classic almost up there with the sick buffalo yet they still use it expecting foreigners to be dumb enough to believe it. Had a bar girl use the brother in town can’t come out excuse the other day , I just laughed and said ok.

Years ago I heard of the Thai girl refusing to go to stay in Germany with her German boyfriend unless her brother came along too! As he had no job in Thailand and she was 'responsible' for him and had to 'take care of him'! Well guess what ? The brother was 'sexually active' with his so called 'sister' ---whilst the German guy was out at work! That was some 25 years ago, its gotten worse now! Good vlog mate!

I'm a Pattaya veteran now, started visiting in 2008, and on every single trip I learn something new from every single girl, but since I found this channel with Dan, I've learned so much more, wow. Still, some of these girls are pros and you have to remind yourself to be cautious, if you treat it like a game it is still fun, but if you are still hoping to find love here, then you could get burned very badly.
Whomever goes there looking for love and is over the age of 25 is an idiot. You have to be stupid as hell to think dating literal whores is going to end well.

@@hectorjones5780 I have been to pattaya a few times. The first time was when I was in the navy. It’s was 1999 and I was 20 year old man. We got drunk and pounded the hell out of some Thai women. I was already an experienced squirrel chaser at that point. We had guys who were virgins and grew up very sheltered and from small towns fall in love and marry them. Their lives were exponentially difficult and costly from that day forward. I am from Hawaii so I am very aware and used to all types of Asian cultures. Especially the Filipinas. So I know scammers and charlatans when I see, hear, or are in the general area. That being said I have been almost robbed by other thai scams. It happens but these guys are out of control. Like they never had sex or seen a prett girl before. Grow up!

My first gf here was a realtor. She told me she lives with her ex husband. She never invited me back to her house. Ended it.
My last gf, a trainer at a hospital, talked to a male “cousin” everyday in Thai over phone. Come to find out he’s her “ex bf” of many years ago. I also found out about an American who was sending her 20k/mo. Ended.
Current gf, who works in a pub, is getting 20k /mo. going through her old Insta DMs, she mentions having a “husband” to a guy that tried to hit her up. I have yet to have the discussion but I’m sure it’ll be the same story and I’ll be single again.
This scam is real and prevalent seemingly across many classes.

Asking for money online: Block/delete... NEXT! The brother and old friend scam is old news. I remember sitting and Enjoying my dim sum at a Din Tai Fung department in Bangkok, and suddenly I saw a couple sitting next to me. Suddenly an "old friend" of the girl showed up. The Thai waiter told me old friend = husband/bf.
Thank you Dan for sharing these stories, no matter who can't take benefits out of it, only matters if there is someone appreciating, and there are. So keep going! As for the scams there is a basic advice to always keep in mind. Girls/women have a brain, too. They are smart, NEVER ever underestimate a girl when he has a plan. No matter if she is after your mney only, or really in love. If you come to the point where things go wrong they all can harm you. some out of revenge, jealousy, hate? other just because they want money. but never think you are smarter than they are. Maybe you are, but always keep your stuff together and don't trust them, at least only to a certain point. My ex-wife was the most innocent human being for over 20 years. When it came to separation, she out of nowhere knew all the tricks, whre and how to get all my money make me pay, and feel guilty about everything she had a way to know all my personal stuff. Don't think they will not spy your phone computer or all other stuff, they ALL will do. So, guys, have fun and enjoy, but always be careful.

You ARE helping the girl by giving her money. She does need to make a living. However, it is essentially a business transaction- she is exchanging her time and "companionship" for money. Like any other transaction, you should be getting your money's worth and not overpaying.

What I don't get with some guys is as soon as they enter thailand they lose the ability to be cautious. They have all this scepticism back in the west rightly so. But there is good and bad in all countries. Defense needs to be up at all times. Anywhere.
People want to live in a state of idealism and refuse to accept truths until its too late. This is why your channel is so important. Living knowledge is priceless. Keep up the good work.
Back in the day, I lost track of how many times I spotted the hidden boyfriend stalking me on the streets. Sometimes the girls introduce him as a 'cousin or brother' getting me to buy the drinks for her & him. I guess they think they're clever. If that happens to you, start scanning the crowds for that face. Believe me, it will be there.
Dealt with this is Mexico a few times. I can’t imagine feeling like a man while doing this. It’s funny how they don’t look down those guys but they are quick to look down on westerners, foreigners, farangs if they are not in their eyes as high class.

These cases don't only involve heterosexual couples. There are also plenty of lesbian couples playing this game. I know a lesbian in Pattaya that is getting 30000THB per month from a German widower and he has also set her up with a small coffee shop. Her girlfriend told me all and was laughing at the German guy and said lots of lesbian couples have foreign sponsors on the go to fund their lifestyles.
I'm sure lots of these guys have an inkling they are being ripped off or are not the only guy but are willing to accept being part-time because their looks, age, social skills, or wealth would not warrant getting a beautiful young lady full-time.

Your a adult people have to learn for themselves when playing the game of love 😍 and it can be costly there's no such thing as free love 😍 find a good massage parlour or 2 that does full service no girls 👭 in your room stealing or scams + you get a massage !
Usually you get very mediocre massage in places like that.
I prefer doing it separately: a good massage with an experienced 40 years old masseuse then good play between the sheets with a fresh 20-30 years old freelancer.
And during my 5 trips they have never stolen a thing from me. I never leave a freelancer alone in my room to give her a chance to steal something valuable (no money are stored in easily available places though). And I always split my money in 2-3 different places (safe box + 1-2 hidden places in my room) so that even if they manage to steal 1 pile I am not left with nothing.
Basically, I always keep in mind that every person in Thailand may be a criminal, a thief or a scammer. Like you never lower your guard when boxing if you do not want to get punched in the head.

Sad reality about women here in Thailand is that the only way to avoid being scammed here is just not to get into a relationship with any of them. That is purely a risk-benefit based analysis.
It is a huge financial risk (like marrying a woman in the West - alimony issues from a considerable percentage). But Thai women (and other South East Asian nations) do it like a constant business plan. You need to ask yourself "Is it worth it?"
Third world mindsets and a culture over generations that endorses fleecing foreigners. Social media has put scamming on steroids - it has allowed girls to scam multiple men at once and receive very substantial tax free income. It has also allowed girls to learn very quickly what they can get from men by finding out what other women here get. Jealousy is rife with women comparing how many sponsors, money, possessions others are getting.
Thai women have gotten worse, more narcissistic and vain as well. The pretty modest Thai who are self deprecating, unaware of their own beauty, seeking a man to love forever, not money hungry, devoted to her man - has overwhelmingly disappeared. The young women of today are social media savvy and have become stuck up narcissists. Likes, love hearts and the countless comments on their looks etc by foreigners and Thai men too, has truly gone to their heads (much like women around the world). There are many attractive Thai women and their seeming availability is the honey trap for relationship and sex-starved men. And the many thousands of guys who come here each year to fall for a woman, to then get totally wiped out is nuts.

You're helping alot of people Dan, well the one's that listen anyway, if I was the guy paying 20k a month which is huge here for most, with her being very careful, I'd ask to see her bank balance or the how much she's saved, it will very quickly show you if she's sending that money to her husband or not, if she won't show you then that also answer's your worries, if you don't care and are just happy to pay that to be with her and don't get too attached, then it's up to you and isn't anyone's business

Personally I am not into long term relationships as they always turn sour, I prefer short term experiences where you enjoy the honeymoon period and move on before the conflicts and dramas. However based on this story this brother has a good deal in that he is with a woman 20 years younger who provides him with lodging, food and presumably aerobics for 20000 bath monthly without asking for more. So he is getting all of that for 585 US dollars monthly, a deal that guys join a 10 mile queue for. If it is a scam this lady is a novice of the industry; most real scammers would start at a reasonable rate but gradually ask for more and more until they suck you dry unless you manage to escape their grip before your account turns red.
Divorces are very simple in thailand and husband can only demand big money if she has big money already. Sounds like a stitch up. By the way, a thai lady scooped up a german man very recently and went to chaing rai with him. He's now dead and his son is coming to collect the body. Within a month this man bought her gold and also a car and now he's dead. Im in with the thai locals and basically none of them were that suprised about it.
