- Muay Thai is steeped in hundreds of years of tradition and remains one of the most effective forms of combat today.
According to tradition, each and every warrior performs their ritual before going to war showing gratitude and paying respect to parents, teachers and ancestors but also warming up the body and focusing the mind.
Like the Haka to the New Zealand All Blacks in Rugby, the Ram Muay Wai Khru is the equivalent to in Muay Thai.
Here at Champions Gym we maintain and uphold the traditional heritage teaching our students the way of the warrior.

It is beautiful and shows a deep respect for tradition. But did you notice that it also allows the fighters to map out every square centimeter of the fighting arena? Any imperfection, dip, or bump can cause a fighter to lose their footing. Fights are sometimes won or lost by such tiny margins.
