honestly i thought i would hate this because theres no Richie or the rest of the band but i have to say it was pretty god damn good. jon really is one hell of a performer.
I remember watching this whole concert live on tv as a teenager, I also recorded it on vhs and pretty much wore it out ! I now feel quite old watching various bits of it again!
Ya know , I've seen Jon solo and with bonjovi, Ritchie alech tico and that other guy in concert over a dozen times over the years ! Dating back to when they opened for the scorpions in 1986 on that epic like 18 month WORLD WIDE LIVE TOUR that the scorpions were on ! And while the band matured into the 90's and beyond and I can honestly say they have NEVER EVER that I have witnessed , put on a mediocre show let and bad one! I mean these guys were top notch real raw honest musicians who believed in their music and looked to enjoy playing the hits over the years , which is not as easy as it sounds! Their sound guys and Roadies and people making it happen night after night behind the scenes were also the best in the business! True professionals that we grew up with! I mean who doesn't like at least one bonjovi song ? I think even my Grandma had A BONJOVI SONG that reminded her of a time in her life ! Kinda like a SCORPIONS ballad! Although STILL LOVING YOU has never nor could never be duplicated! If you've never heard it look it up ! If you give me a chance to start once again I'm loving you , here we go again all the way !! Classic 80's ! A lot of crap in those days , tho fun ! But there also was some art to come out that just was is and always will be kick a.. I mean it never sounds dated ! Bands like RIOT , TRIUMPH , RUSH , SCORPS ACDC JOVI MAIDEN PRIEST DIO ZEP TESLA VH HAGAR WHITESNAKE DP FLOYD KINGS X
@aotopoints He seemed happy to be performing and there were great performaces... i guess because there was no pression and fewer shows... but he has such a good conection with the rest of Bon jovi that the Jovis shows are too great... just too impressive. i mean, look at the these days tour or the keep the faith tour, the energy, the power... well, he always has such power, always trying to give the audience the best freaking night of their lives, but i understand what you mean...
is that LISA FISHER in green singing backup vocals? if so she must have been keeping it REAL reigned in not to blow Jon off the stage. especially during the Proud Mary they did. killer band, good performance by jon!

Not beeing one big Bon Jovi fan but this version really rocks for sure and it's hard not to with a killer band like the one they've got here!!
