They were just so fucking awesome in the early '90s.
I guess you could say that to million other bands lol. All classic bands from 70' and 80's peaked in the early 90's, not old but matured a bit back then thus made some of the great albums ever. White Lion for example released Mane Attraction which is a killer record, Warrant's Cherry pie no doubt a heavy record, Poison's Native Tongue is awesome too. 1990-1993were great years for hard rock bands, until 1994 when everything just disappeared unfortunately because of the so-called Grunge movement.

@@jeremycubs8331 A lot of them were f'kin rubbish live, Sambora was the reverse, played conservatively on the album and showed his all in concert, I've talked to a few rodies who said he was right up there with the best. BJ as a band WERE also super tight live.
Oh my, this was really good... I definitely gotta check out more of their earlier live performances when Jon still had his voice - this was impressive!!
Check out Hannover 1986, you can find the full thing on TH-cam, sadly it's only audio, but it's a KILLER performance, Jon even sang the chorus on Livin' On A Prayer which he later avoided, Moscow 1989 was also incredible and there's the legendary performance at Wembley Stadium 1995

Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, GNR, RHCP, Nirvana, Oasis, Green Day... They were full of energy but sophisticated enough at their live performances...The audiences were also...amazing

Pretty sure Alec doesn't have a microphone (on camera, that is) until 5:26, though (at least he doesn't seem to use it during the first chorus at 1:15 -with a shot on Alec focused on his bass at 1:24 - and again at 2:27 for the second chorus). Amazing performance nonetheless from the boys :)
