Excited for the upcoming videos! I just got into the hobby and picked up an scx24 c10. Looking forward to upgrading it and using your videos as a guide. As a "newbie" it can be overwhelming looking at the parts and endless wheel/tire set ups. Great video!
I just got into 24s. My sone got a deadbolt about 2 weeks ago and I got two of the basecamps one pink for my wife and a white one for me, the white is a pearl so looks awesome in the sun. The best mod was the treal wheels and LGRP black label tires but I have modified all three. Two have brass diff front and knuckles, SS high clearance links stretched to gladiator, SS driveshafts, and relocated electronics. Mine has MEUS axle’s with the underdrive, SS H.C gladiator links, SS driveshafts treal wheels,LGRP black label, 43mm injora shocks. Comp cut the body and it looks awesome.
In my opinion/experience. The redcat 18 is the best stock performance for the price. Just like any axial, it takes a lot of extra money to make it work properly.
Definitely worth it. I just bought 3 heavily modified all of them but kept stock axles on my son’s and wife’s but put MEUS on mine so backup’s for them.

I may get a Basecamp and build my "stock" rendition with stock oil shocks and proline wheels and tires
