Your videos are awesome and I really want to come run your course. I'm not to far from you and drive two hours to go down to black diamond so a little closer is always better lol. Not much around for minis other than superior RC.
I do think the Basecamp body is pretty cool. The issue is everything else. The friction shocks, the OG esc/electronics. They built these with all the things people get rid of right away. The Lexus is a killer truck, Oil filled shocks, Spektrum Branded electronics, Nice remote. If you did a parts build with all the stock stuff you had laying around from other SCX24's youd have a Basecamp chassis. Im no fortune teller but my guess is another SCX24 Basecamp is coming with all the better stuff and molded bits the new 10th scale has. I know nothing. Thanks for the video.
Ok wait. I just was on the website while having some morning coffee. I retract my previous statement. This does have all the Spektrum branded stuff in it. Just not the oil filled shocks. Why does it sound the way it does and act all jumpy? Interesting for sure. Maybe you know you want to build an SCX24 so getting in at $100 is a better option for a starting point.
👍👍 heck yeah I say it performed pretty good for stock, yeah a little bit of tuning love the looks of the body. Well as always appreciate you sharing Jacob. I’ll watch for the budget. Build on this for sure. Well until next time peace and chicken grease.😁👍👍👋👋😎 PS stop over to Jim Wolf live stream Friday night. It’s either around 9:00 PM or 10:00 PM.
The highlights of this truck are the body and licensed bumpers imo, but the Lexus is still better in both regards. Would think at $100 it's easy to toss in a brushless system and let it rip! Plus, we all have plenty of wheels and tires laying around lol
Is that the ESC with the high pitched whine?? Tell me it’s not that bad in person. I couldn’t finish the video. But great content, dude!! I brushless swap everything anyways, but damn!

Basecamp for the win
I'm late to the party this time. Great video Crawler Baller!! I love the longer videos!! Especially when you are voicing over live. Hilarious.
@@myharryface ha! I’m glad you approve!
I may get a Basecamp and install the stock oil shocks and some proline tires and wheels and then compare to "stock"

Will do!
👍👍 yeah I like the looks of the body, looks like it’s not doing too bad for stock
It's hard not to be biased when the Lexus is still fresh on your mind
Yeah, the new route that was awesome👍👍
Love the vids man the lexus still might be the money ticket for me!
👍👍 yeah awesome Jacob budget build i’ll watch for that
Have you seen the new Captain RC Toyota 24 scale RC crawler? It looks like a SCX24 underneath but I don't know how much like it.

Mine had trouble towing a deadbolt on the axial trailer, those tires are horrible.
