- Video of the raising of 60' Universal aluminum tower with SteppIR DB-18 and dual band 2m/40 on top. NN4ZZ Tilt plate was used. Rope used was an 11,500 lb tiger cable with a HMPE core and Polyester cover Attached at 20 feet and looped over an 11' pole behind the tower, then attached to a 40hp Allis Chalmers tractor to pull it up.
Sure looked like it went up smoothly. That NN4ZZ tilt plate at the top makes this a pretty slick assembly. Congrats Larry!!
