    The vitamin Cs I’ve tried make my skin burn and sting, so I needed this video!

    I’ve noticed that my skin becomes a little sensitive around my period and can handle a lot otherwise. I try to use more actives when I know my skin can handle them. Great video Kelly as always ❤

    I've tried the Stratia and like it. I'm not a fan of Paula's Choice products. I've heard good things about the Drmtlgy C5 moisturizer and was thinking of trying it.

    Love your videos Kelly!
    Also! Wondering if I can use vitamin C while pregnant?
    I would LOVE to see a video about skincare while pregnant! I’ve heard there are so many things to consider and stop using while pregnant, it’s overwhelming! But the way you break down concepts is SO easy to understand! Would love if you could make a video like that in the future! 💗💗🙌🏼

    Kelly I was at Sephora in kohles last night and they had the original phormula of the Laneige cream skin in the hugest bottle I have seen it come in it was like value size and they had the milk cleanser too which I haven't seen their before they also had the new laneige cream skin line. I just wanted to let you know Incase you wanted to stock up for winter I think that size bottle would last probably a whole year and it wasn't that much more then the regular fullsize bottle maybe 20$ more. I got the new Tatcha cleansing balm and I hated it it burned my eyes smelled like vinager when I spread it out and felt like it striped every once of moister and oil out of my skin my skin felt tight and burned after. I had high hopes but it's a no for me maybe super oily non sensitive skin would like it. Just letting u know if u wanted to try it I don't think it's worth it. I don't get all the 5 star reviews cause I can't see anyone with dryer or dehydrated sensitive skin liking it . They are probably all gifted for review .

      Oh interesting, my sephora (in kohls) doesn't have OG CSR but I actually still have 1 bottle left I'll use up in the winter!

    Hi Kelly! Thanks for your recommendations as always. Have you tried the 107 Soseo Vinbiome Vitamin C Serum? It has a pretty high amount of vitamin c but stable and not stimulating.

    Hi Kelly! Does the Vegreen product have any scent/fragrance? I ask because the main reason I don't use vitamin C is because of the hot dog smell - I just can't get past that... Thank you!

    • @KellyDriscoll
      @KellyDriscoll  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It has a kind of mild plastic smell but it doesn't have the dreaded hot dog or wet dog food smell!

    I would like to find something with brightening benefits combo like multiples actives at the lower % anything that you can recommend and I would like to use in the morning? Something that has vitamin c but also peptides or also tranexamic acid. Love your videos.

    I bought the Cosrx one which is pretty potent. I also used Melano Cc and also the premium one but maybe it was the alcohol or fragrance, the melano CC ones irritated my skin. My skin is dry and sensitive so I think I will defo try this

    • @KellyDriscoll

    Thank you Kelly for all your videos, I could listen to you all day❣️ The Vegreen vit c serum is a product I’ve wanted to try for a while now and it’s on the way to me as we speak. 😊 I’m currently using a serum from Skintegra ( a croatian brand) with 10% SAP and the vit c brightening serum from Q&A ( a british brand) which is lovely too. I use them both together. ❤ ❤❤

    I have sensitive skin and trouble with acids and retinols. Just started tretinoin .025 after spending 2 years working my way up from .5 Retinol. But I have always been able to use the Timeless 20% Vitamin C. It’s now $45 and I was looking for some alternative. I think I will try the VeGreen or Stratia next. I'm confused about the PH, Vit C has a low PH (3-4) bit cleanser are around PH 5 so how do you get you PH around 3 so the vit c is working properly?

    • @KellyDriscoll
      @KellyDriscoll  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You don't need to lower your skin pH to 3 for vitamin C to work; the formula will naturally lower skin pH when you apply it that's why it's best to not raise natural skin pH. If you lower your skin pH prior to using vitamin C it has the potential to irritate skin.

    Am I the only one who can tolerate 20% l-ascorbic acid and 20% tetrahexadecyl ascorbate, but not 15% 3-0-ethyl ascorbic acid? 3-0-ethyl ascorbic acid literally burned my face.
