It's so surreal to hear Five Nights at Freddy's being discussed in the mainstream world, and hearing Scott Cawthon's name in a Fandango interview! So excited for the movie and I can't believe how far we've come. Also whoever chose purple lighting behind the interviewer needs a raise.

@Voiple I watched some of markiplier's game plays and some funny youtubers, but I did not watch them all of the consecutively, so I wouldn't understand the sequence of order of events in the game.

Emma's amazing, yesterday I got the opportunity to see her and Jason Blum speak about the movie at NYCC. They're truly so passionate and care abut the fans. I saw her in the subway later and she waved and smiled at me since I was cosplaying the marionette from fnaf 2 :D

One of the reasons this actually makes me excited is that there's mention of a lot of humor.
the fnaf franchise has always been filled with humor. from a perfect 72 degrees to the honking of freddy's nose.

I cannot wait for this! So dangerously close to seeing the animatronics on the big screen for the first time to. It's not everyday that a FNAF movie releases in theaters.
The thing that amazes me is that they got someone to make actual animatronics. They could have made it with CGI, but they went the extra mile.

I have a lot of faith in Emma as the director of the film. She worked with Scott to tell the story the proper way, and her directing history makes her a great choice for the FNAF film.

They deadass made a springlock suit, which is a suit that can be worn by performers and endoskeleton
Foxy is a fully fledged animatronic build (his arm even caught on fire during production). The rest are wearable, articulated suits with facial movement rigs. Very impressive stuff from Jim Henson's Creature Shop.

I’m already thinking what’s going to happen in the movie so the past security guard before Mike was looking at cameras, and then power goes out after that Freddy came in and grab the guard and the security guard trying to punch Freddy and he accidentally punched his nose and it squeaked

I have been waiting for YEARS. I cannot contain my excitement!
To be honest, I’ve NEVER played a single FNAF game, but I enjoy watching lore videos on it and watching my nephew play the games. I saw the movie with my nephew and we had a blast! It was a FUN movie! I seriously can’t wait for the next movie! Everyone did an amazing job on this film!

Having seen the movie the other day, all I can say is go into it with the understanding that it's in the same canonicity situation as the books. Same universe, same rules, same franchise, different plot points. That being said, go in ready to have some fun, and watch the background for easter eggs! Always be ready to apply a controlled shock to keep everyone in line💛
I wonder when bendy will get his own screen adaptation. I had in my mind dane boedigheimer voicing the cartoon version of bendy, Rhys Drake waterfeleid as the director and Melanie Martinez being the composer. And themeatly oversees everything.

I see a purple light, PURPLE GUY confirmed! lol seriously though can't wait for this film, i love that the first rule of making this film is to make the fan's happy, something sorely lacking these days in Hollywood, Scott knows better than anyone how passionate the fans are about the lore with his ever more confusing lore lol, as a fan for 10 years and counting i'm so happy for Scott, he went from struggling to get a foot in the door to having a full length motion picture, and all because he got the idea from a nightmare he had about a creepy bunny.

There is an art to making horror mash with comedy. Chucky and Elm street did it good for the first 3 movies in their series. Well recent Chucky has been great also. So I hope FNAF can do that also.

I think this movie made a great decision having Jim Henson,s company make the animatronics after all the company has plenty of experience making animatronics like they made the animatronics for dinosaurs the first two t.m.n.t movies and so on.
