- This is part three of my story and my journey to finding happiness and inner peace after going through divorce. You can find happiness regardless of where you are at in life. You are worthy of finding happiness and inner peace. You don't need a special key to find your own happiness, you already have it within you to find it.

I think we are brought up to think we are supposed to get married and i dont think that way now.Before all i ever wanted was to be married and raise my children. I once had a man i loved but i was too young and he died. He is an amazing spirit and so i know because of him that I could be married and happy. his life has always been center for me. I am very thankful.
Ok I’ve watched part 1, 2 and now 3 in a row. You are amazing. I have almost the same story as you except I’m not Amish. When you were talking about your ex leaving you at the hospital at your births, I burst out in tears because it happened to me too. Our stories are so similar it’s crazy. I’m binge watching your TH-cam channel and you amaze me! I know it has not been an easy road and you have survived a lot of challenges. You have done it victoriously. You provide inspiration and hope for anyone (especially women) who have had a difficult childhood, an abusive marriage, going through a divorce, being a parent, doing inner work, going to college and working while being a single parent- Wow! Emily, I don’t know if you will see this comment, but your story is more than inspirational. It is a form of women’s history. I can say that because I lived a similar story of the parental neglect/early marriage + kids/escape/custody battlefield/educational journey… many years ago. I have friends in my age group with similar stories, but we had no way to tell our stories. It is great that you are on TH-cam, speaking your truth, and being such a role model. God bless you! From your stories, it seems like you have lived three lifetimes. Very inspiring. One of the lessons i learned from you is that Amish work ethic or hard work in general does translate to whatever you put your mind to.

We all have been programmed that Divorce is a failure. But what the failure really is….. is living with a person you can’t believe or trust and feeling trapped. It’s harder when you’re older. But younger like you…, you still can get the energy you need to go through these life changes etc.
We can all still pull through at any age 👏🏼

Emily...your story touched my heart..my parents left the amish when i was six and joined a Mennonite church. The amish we left were different from what you described in that alot of them understood that Jesus saves if we repent and follow his teachings in the New Testament.So we didnt grow up with the concept that you cant know whether you are going to heaven. I hope you have read the Bible for yourself Especially the New Testament...because without Jesus we are all lost...but Jesus ' love is so great "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
Thank you for sharing that. Mennonite is different than the Amish and yes I have read the Bible and understand that God is a God of Love.
Hello Emily- I enjoyed listening to your story. I struggle so much with trying to figure out who I am and depression, so I can really relate to those parts of your story and hope I can find that peace that you found. I am curious, and maybe I missed it in these 3 parts, but what happened with your family? Were you shunned? Do you have a relationship with them now or visit them?
At first I was shunned and then later we ended up having a relationship and I see them now.
When it comes to finding peace it can be challenging but yet so beautiful. This is what I do now. I lead and guide others to have that peace and to get to know who they are as a person. If you ever need support please reach out and let me know.

Hi Emily, you’re a braveheart and you lifted a lot with the power you developed! Power doesn’t grow over night, neither the one of the body nor the mental one. You found such a good way to deal with everything. I grew up without any structure under difficult circumstances as the oldest of 7 and was always kind of attracted of groups with strong beliefs and a structure you can rely on. Of course I searched (and found) a structure in my job as a jurist at court🧑🎓… more than I wanted😉. When I worked with divorce cases I found it always the most difficult part for the people to accept and to deal with, that there will be a relationship, even if they didn’t want that anymore, because there are children… Now I’m 66, retired and have to find a new structure, which fits to me. The only constant thing in life is the change, I read that somewhere and it’s so true. Keep strong and happy and inspire many others to find their way. Love from Germany, Monika❣️

Wow listening to your life , I can understand alcoholism I'm a man and left my wife many times, it killed her , I'm never really been a drinker , we had a pretty good life until my daughter was born within 7 years she had died, I'm an English man obviously from UK, I've so enjoyed listening.

Thank you my wife has been going nearly 14 years for years I changed the subject, it was 5 years before I started as you Americans say dating again but under no way do I want to get married etc again,plus my Yorkshire terrier comes before any woman, she gets very jealous lol

You probably don't know this: nearly all people have NO connected causal memory of their own lives.
This means a number of things.
1: They are not able to learn life lessons
2. They have no greater perspective on anything
3. They do not hang on to their original selves.
4. They have no inner voice that tells them wrong from right.
5. They do not ask themselves deep meaningful questions
That is the reason you teach life lessons because others have not gone through the hard road of making mistakes and learning from them.
BUT: the only way you can learn is by making mistakes.
If you don't make mistakes you will never learn anything
Your story sounds almost like mine, I was not Amish but I left a neglectful family, and married a man like yours.

In spite of what you said about God not loving you God loves us it's our choice to live for him or not. I just want to say congratulations to what you've done recognizing to leave that marriage for your children's sake. I am more spiritual. I don't follow a certain religion but I do believe in a higher power and I am always led and guided through this higher power.

Emily, I think what you are missing in your Life is a Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ, he is the missing Link. The Bible says in John 3:16 For God so Loved the World, that he gave his only Begotten Son that whosoever Believeth in Him should not Perish, but have everlasting
life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 3:23 For all have Sinned and come short of the Glory of God.
Romans 6:23 For the Wages of Sin is Death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. The only way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ, He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. You must be Born again to enter into the Kingdom of God. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. You must Repent of your Sins and ask Jesus Christ to come into your Heart and be your Lord and Saviour. Surrendering your life for His. Believing Jesus died on the Cross for mine and your Sins, and Receiving Jesus as your Saviour. Pray and Believe and Receive the Gift of Salvation. What will send someone to Hell is rejecting Jesus.
When I was 17 years old I laid on my Bed and said there has to be more to life then this, and I thought I was always a good person and I was going to Heaven, but found out it isn’t about being a good Person, it is about a Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ. We could never be good enough to get to Heaven because of our Sins, Jesus knew no Sin, he was the Sacrificial Lamb of God that took away our Sins on the Cross. He is the Void in your Heart that is Missing, it is not about Religion, it is about Relationship. You are a Beautiful Woman and need no make- up, you are made in the image of God and he Loves you with an everlasting Love. The World cannot give you Happiness, only Jesus can satisfy your Soul. When we Die either the Angels are coming to get you to take you to Heaven if you are a Born again Believer, or the Demons are coming to take you to Hell.
God doesn’t force us, he gives everyone Free will. I have been a Spirit Filled Born again believer since July 3rd, 1984, I was 23 years Old, now I am 60 years old, and it was the Best Decision of my life.
