    I did a 40 day water fast and lost 38 lbs but gained 20 lbs back. Now I do a fast once a week: 16 hrs dry and 8 hrs water every Wednesday and 6 days of keto. Dr. Berg videos are the BEST support!

    Stephanie. Thank you! I just watched your videos of your 30 day fast. I’m on Day 5 of my 30 days of water fasting & today is rough. I’m so happy to have found you at just the right time! I’m a ketoer and lead a good sized support group for the past year. I’ve done many 3 day fast and a couple 6 day fasts but this is my first 30 day. Thank you for documenting your journey. ❤️

    Impressive! One advice, once you reached your goal try to figure out what your body needs (calories) to maintain. Balance workout with a weekend night out etc. Seeing this as a former binge eater, making fasting the cure to enjoying food at a birthday party could become dangerous. Rather find the balance, so you don’t have have to make up for enjoying food at a birthday party. It’s really only my personal opinion but I felt like it may be good to share :) all the best to you 💕

    Wow, that is incredible! You should be so proud. I started mine two days ago, but reset it to today because I needed to get off coffee first. One thing that I am unsure about is whether you can take prescribed medecines and still have an effective water fast.

    That’s remarkable, longest I’ve fasted is a week but once I get the first few days over with it’ll get easier. Did you do any kind of workout routine over the 30 days or literally just fasted?

    Hello, I tried water fasting but my stomach hurts me a lot so I breaked it in 1 week. I m so sad 😞

      One week is a good period, not too long not too short. Its what I do once a year. Don’t be sad, be proud. You can do 24 hours fast once a week, also good to work off excess food and keep healthy.

      Also, if your belly hurts, you can buy some psyllium husk, and mix a tablespoon in a glass of water and drink it. Its natural fiber, no calories, and it will make a jelly in your stomach so you feel full. It also keeps your digestion going.

      It’s hard for our loved ones to understand. I really had to educate my husband as well. He thought I was hurting my body rather than healing it!!

    Why haven’t you posted since this video? Be transparent, how are things now? Have you gained a large amount back? A lot of people do these fasts and document it until they finish, and then they disappear.

      Several reasons, the biggest one being I needed to wait and see how my body responded to the fast. Even 3 weeks after, things were still popping up. So every time I thought I’d leave a video, something else would happen....so I’ve waited. I plan on making one this week.
