    Hi Jasmin! Thank for sharing. I also journal a lot and I always have the goal of writing more. It's absolutely necessary for my overall well-being. Never ashamed of it. Journaling and my stationery is the one area of my life where I allow myself to indulge, express my creativity, and release my thoughts regardless of what others think of me. Keep at it!

    It’s incredibly smart that you are anticipating how your move will change how you engage with your hobby. I think the fact that your mind is there already means that you’ll find some strategies on how to support yourself in balancing your hobbies and your new realities. Also thank you so much for the shout out! I’m really humbled because I love your content so much! Also I’m so glad you shared this heavy lift of a video because you might now have the capacity next year.

    You hit the nail on the head. You can not rely on motivation, you have to have discipline. I came to this realization after years of struggling with my lack of motivation (non-journal areas of life). Good for you for recognizing it early.
    Ps, did I mention your chiller recommendation changed my life? Well, it did! Pss, I've been using all the stickers you gifted me. Thank you friend!

    So fun! I also feel like there's not enough time to journal in all the books! Thanks for sharing, Jasmin!

    Loved watching this and seeing your daily journaling routine! Couldn’t agree more about the discipline! For my five year, the end result is what keeps me going!

      Yes! Envisioning what the end result will be keeps the daily actions to get there, going.

    Loooove this video and your transparency with the discipline required to keep up. It's so so true. The 5y techo is a 🤍 challenge 🤍 but I keep telling myself it'll be worth it... currently 5 days behind, haha. Now feeling inspired to do a week in my planners and journals after seeing yours 👀 ✨

    Loved seeing your journal routine! Thank you for being so honest about how much journaling changed your life, it really resonated with me!
    Also, you might want to try Temu for cheap, cute food stickers. Most of the stickers I’ve ordered have Japanese packaging, so I’m assuming they are the same or similar manufacturers as the Japanese Yen stores.

    Hello! I just watched this today and am wondering about the cute little clips that are on your PaperTess planner. They look like they’re gold with a cute little leaf cut out. Thanks 😊

      They are from the artist Nicole Josephine! They are brass clips and came in a pack of 3 with a ginkgo, acorn, and pinecone!

    hi Jasmin, I really enjoyed your video, I'ld love to start a 5-year journal, discipline is key, but the end result must be amazing. You've also inspired me to take a look into other notebooks, there are so many Hobonichi planners. I like your bold food page, it really stands out! Thanks for sharing, fun to see how your roll your cart around the house 😻

    Hi Jasmin, I really enjoyed your video and as I was watching it a question popped up... how do you feel about using a different ink during the week on your daily journal? (I usually use just 1 pen per month but sometimes I kinda want to switch but it drives me crazy thinking the color pages won't match OTL)

    • @journalwithjas
      @journalwithjas  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I had a previous week where I was traveling and my daily ink ran out! I had to switch mid entry to a different color and that honestly bothered me 😅, it still bothers me when I flip through it. But in this case, I did a different color for a full entry and I really liked it this week to help the holiday stand out!
      When I was writing in a Hobonichi I would change colors every 2 days as long as what you see on an open page was the same page. It’s a little harder now with my B6 because there’s no defined page for each day since I so running columns.
      It’s truly funny how we can let details like this hold us up 😅

    Which Alistair book do you recommend starting with?

    • @journalwithjas
      @journalwithjas  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don’t understand your question sorry! You can use the alastair method anytime anywhere! Just pen and paper will do or fit it into your current planner or journal.
