- i've recently become obsessed with tiktok, and one trend i keep seeing is this headscarf one. so i decided to try and make my own! this is a super easy diy and can also be made without a sowing machine too.
let me know if any of you guys make these for yourself.
☆ measurements - 21x21 inches (add an extra inch or two on each side for the seam)

quick tip: when you lift up the foot to turn the corner, stick the needle down into the fabric (there should be a turning button on the side of your sewing machine) and then it stays in place so it’s much easier
yes !! this is called pivoting :)
I love your energy!!! You're gonna be a big youtuber one day!
aw thank you so much this is the biggest compliment ever xx
Finally! This is the exact type of bandana I wanted to make and your instructions were simple and understandable. Wonderful video. Thank you.
This was perfect thank you! I want to make a matching bandana that I have in animal crossing. This looks so easy I’m so excited to try it
So glad that I could help!! 🧡
Love your vibe in your videos! Keep up the good work😊
When pivoting the corners, keep the needle in the fabric when you lift the foot. Makes it a million times easier.
Very fancy. I rate it !!
Cuttte!!! I’m gonna make one!! What sewing machine do you have btw?? 😮
I just need to say this because I am going crazy. When you lift up to foot of the machine to go on a corner PUT THE NEEDLE DOWN PLSSSS. It will make it sooooo much better. No hate I love you it’s just driving me insane!!!!!
Thank you for letting me know! I wasn’t the best at using sewing machines when I filmed this 😂 gotten a lot better since this video x
No hate it helped me a lot I just don’t what anyone to mess it up one time.
I really do love you videos I didn’t mean to sound rude. Lol
@@addisonhamilton8094 that’s okay! I didn’t take it the wrong way thank you so much for the support 🧡🧡
How do you avoid the wing look at the sides? Whenever I try a scarf, it always sticks out at the sides.
Thanks for this. Currently making some headscarf from African material 😊👏🏾
Hi Jess, really good video. You look great in a headscarf! Just out of interest, have you worn your bandana as a headscarf in this style? I think that would look fabulous too xx
Ironing did help a lot, actually!!
thank yoooou! i love this look. what fabric did you use?
I just used regular cotton fabric, any type will work perfectly with this!
How many centimeters do we need to leave on each side?
Thank you! I’m Wiccan and veiling is huge for me but I lost all of my headscarves to dogs. I’ve been looking for days for a way to make one and this just popped up! Thank you again!
What's the measurements? I mean how much centimetres you take for one side?
How did you secure it on your head? Looks great
If you use Bobby pins on the sides you can hide them near your ears and it keeps them on your head! 🧡
i am jess thank you! Is it big enough to tie it at the back? Or should I make it bigger
@@isla2593 yes do a pony tail to get your hair in place, and then tie at the back and pin at the sides to secure it 🧡
Can I sew it by hand! Also very nice video by a nice person😊
you are so beautiful!! and this was super helpful :)
thank you lovely!! so glad this was helpful x

You don't look old enough to be a veteran 😁 I still have my camping headscarf from childhood in the 1970s, now that's a veteran 😉
It’s crazy how stuff I did in high school is now trendy. Weird how things become trendy when you remove the melanin from it.
