    6:00-6:47 thank you slowing it down and showing how to overlap! I've watched a couple of videos on this type of headband and they don't slow down enough for me to see exactly how to do it. Thank you so much

      You got it :) glad it helped! By the way, you can also slow down the youtube video on your end, there is a little gear icon in the video player, if you click on it you can choose video playback speed and slow it down :)

    Hey guys! Like she said, make sure you have that 3/4 inch seam allowance on the elastic band tube. I sewed way too close to the edge and the cotton began fraying, and I had to re-do it. Anyway, thank you so much for this tutorial! Watching it right now!

    For the elastic for the bandanna if you place a safety pin at one end of the elastic you can thread it through the casing easier and be able to catch both ends without any dramas.

    • @ThoughtfulCreativity
      @ThoughtfulCreativity  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Grace, hi! It was long time ago so I don't remember, and ... You just really need to take in consideration what age is the child. Juts measure his/her head and figure it out from there, I am sure you can do it :)

    So easy and you can cut two out of a fat quarter! I broke a needle when I did the final seam due to the many layers of fabric and my quilting needles. But I made 3 in about 35 minutes!

    • @ThoughtfulCreativity
      @ThoughtfulCreativity  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh really? I was using my standard ball point needle from my previous knit fabric project and it handled it well. So sorry for the broken needle, but so happy that you made some and you are pleased with them! :)

    • @michellepark778
      @michellepark778 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      you might need a heavier gauge needle eg. 90/14 or a jeans needle 80/12, 90/14 ...

    • @ThoughtfulCreativity
      @ThoughtfulCreativity  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ethel, it is the same way you would for yourself, however lots will depend on the type and quality of elastic. Rule of thumb, full waist measurement (or wherever the pants will sit at) minus 2-3". Sometimes more, sometimes less. Cut and test first before you insert in the pants.
