You need it to be at least 2.7 inches + the measurement you calculated in the beginning (head circumference/2 - 4”)

Please help me understand the dimensions. I'm new and a bit confused.
I did the fabric 12 inches and the elastic 5 inches and it was too lose so I trimmed it to 11in and it’s still too big. So not sure 16inches definitely doesn’t work
Ninguna de las medidas coincide 🤦🏻♀️, 40 cm no son 16 " , 8 cm no son 3 " , 20 cm no son 8 " , no se cual es la medida correcta 😭
