His lineart in the latest chapters is so smooth, I'm honestly envious. But then again he's been in the game for a long time and he takes long to make each chapter so it makes sense. All in all, it's very pleasing to the eye.
He's definitely in my top 5 manga artist in the seinen genre. I loving not only his artwork, but his storytelling as well. I know Vinland Saga will end soon, but I can't wait to see what Yukimura does next! 😃

I wished there was more about the artstyle. He really evolves throughout the manga in the first volumes the characters are rather simplistic and sometimes cartoonish like if you compare 1st volume Askeladd or Floki with the later volumes the difference is crass.
This is getting me even more excited for the Manga Deluxe Editions they just announced! They’re going to be the same trim size as the Berserk Hardcovers. I can not wait to have all of them on the shelf🤓
The art of Vinland developed so much through the chapters covering the prologue arc it was simply like comparing two different manga its insane how great it now is a privilege to read most surely

I know you mostly do manga, but I would love to see an artistic evolution of the original Universal Century Mobile Suit Gundam anime. The reason why is because it’s anime original and not based on a manga.
Also a suggestion for this series would be hajime no ippo a manga that is 1.4k chapters long the art change is quite literally noticed everywhere it would be perfect for this type of series and its got a great fanbase
The only thing that I find strange about Yukimura is that sometimes he has weird head proportions compared to his body, there is one about Thorfinn that his body is too small for his head and this usually happens when he has his hair tied up, it's not something that screws me up, but it's weird when it happens.
For me it's the best hand drawing in manga they usually say it's Berserk, Vagabond and then comes Vinland Saga, I have a different opinion I prefer Vinland Saga. I like how he hatches, makes scenes with less pollution and not much subtraction of elements and the main thing is that face with that eyes type → ⟨ ⟩. With a very stylized manga pupil that contrasts with these faces in different ways and different renderings and stylizations with the right to change due to age and this very anime and very manga hair is one of the best who work in semirealism with manga stylization the second best designer next to Shinichi Sakamoto and both behind Katsuhiro Otomo. ❤

Planetes was in a weekly magazine, but it was serialized highly irregularly over the period of a few years, only publishing a few chapters each year.

Latest episode of the anime was amazing. It added so much to an already great scene from the manga.

Is the farmland arc divisive? It’s generally considered the best arc in the manga.
It's not divisive to people that stick to the series but plenty of newcomers who like the Prologue drop it at that point
