Lots of trees on the grounds to keep you shaded. There are kids on the property but the waterpark is almost separate.
Man I tell you what, there’s a lot of less than desirable people making content on TH-cam. Obviously I don’t know you in person, but you really seem like one of the few really great and genuine people out here. My wife and I have enjoyed your videos for years now and it has helped our planning, hotel selection etc. When at the hotel, my wife even asks are you going to try that drink that Coolist had in the video? We also re-watch videos months after we visit a particular hotel and reminisce about the pool, room and foods as you visit them. Our household went to Lopesan Costa Bavaro three weeks ago, and I met a gentleman from the UK while watching the sunrise over the party boats just offshore. About five minutes into the conversation, we both found out the reason why we were there was because of some TH-camr that goes by Coolist highly recommended it. James, your content is amazing and it was so cool to talk about it with a stranger that soon became a friend. We're going to try to cross paths again next year from opposite sides of the globe. Regarding your father, my dad beat Stage 3 Esophageal cancer, and I get to cherish my bonus time with him. I'm happy to see that you had the opportunity to do the same. Honestly I love your channel and your videos… I’ve been watching your travel videos for over the last 3 weeks. I’ve probably watched 20 of your videos in the last 3 weeks. Don’t ever give up on your goals, your content is gold and your tips. We all experience difficult situations in life.I lost my father at 25 years old and he never saw me start my construction business. I never truly realized how much he meant to me until after he was gone so I do understand. Do what makes you happy brother, take time be with your family. Do you!!!! But keep in mind he would want you to be happy and succeed on your channel, that’s 100.

I can really relate to this video! My dad has 4 stage lung cancer and is suffering on the daily basis. I live in a different state and dread a phone call from my relatives. My dad is on borrowed time right now. I remember my dad when he was young, tall, and handsome but he is very weak and sick right now. It is extremely sad to lose a parent and mentor! I am so sorry that your dad passed away!
Stay strong… my dad passed in March , he was sick but managed well on his own back in Ukraine. We video chatted every Friday but I knew that one day I will receive that dreaded phone call… he went fast and painless… lost consciousness, one week in a coma and that’s it…
What you focus on grows. Rightfully so, for the past 18 months, your emotional connection and relationship with your dad grew the most. On the 10th on July will mark the 1 year to their death. My father was in the hospital for one year straight, pulled through after countless complications, and lived another seven years before the complications caught up with him. Like you, he was an amazing dad and left this life way too soon. He is always in my heart and prayers and his influence on me lives on in my day to day choices in life. It has been many years since his passing. There will always be an empty space but, surprisingly, he remains as much a part of my life now than when he was alive. In time, you will see just how great he was because of how great an influence he had on you. That means he is always there when you need him. Always. Go do you!

You are great at what you do and I lost my dad, who was 93, three months ago and I binged a lot of TH-cam in those two weeks after and namely your videos of your traveling and reviewing all over the place. It took my mind to a better place during a dark time so what you do makes a difference to lots of other people in ways you might not even think of so keep moving forward and know your videos sometimes mean more than just reviewing a cool pool scene. Your communication skills and mojo are exemplary. Keep up the good work and stay strong. You are admired by many.
James, I’m sorry for your loss. Keep being you sir. I had a similar experience with my mom since I came from a single family household. I gave up a 7 figure business to spend the last 18 months of her life with her. Also like you travel intrigues me to the point I want to consider it. I was paralyzed emotionally and somewhat mentally. Depression set in to the point I became a recluse. I eventually came out of the “hole” when I found out my wife was pregnant with twins (who I named after my mom) about 10 months after my mom died. I knew then life had to go on and it was a blessing. I would love to talk to you personally because we have much in common. The road ahead is wide open. Go be great.

What a moving story! So sorry to hear of your loss. Better to re-title this episode as "Homage to my Dad". So courageous of you to share your pain. Losing a parent is so wrenching. I went to work the morning after getting a 2am call that Mom died. Didn't know what else to do so fell back on the sanity of routine. I'm sure you will find inner resilience. It doesn't matter how often or if you release travel videos, although your viewers love to observe your travels we know you are human and experience both Joy's and losses. No need to apologize. Part of life.

I totally know how you feeling My dad was and will always be my hero, difficult individual, but with a big kind heart. I told myself I'd see/spend time with him in the month of December on his birthday for once and Christmas this year. I was too late by October 20th. It's been hard for myself, and no one'd understand ever
So sorry to hear about the loss go your dad. I lost mine to stage 4 cancer 12 years ago. It never gets better but it does get a little easier as time passes. There are still times that I go to call home to talk to him and forget he’s not there. This was a brave video and I congratulate you on your courage and openness and the fact that you stay positive. Watching your videos and traveling has inspired my wife and I we are going to try and start our own channel soon. We will be making our first video in Key West at the end of July. Lots of trees on the grounds to keep you shaded. There are kids on the property but the waterpark is almost separate.

Our household went to Lopesan Costa Bavaro three weeks ago, and I met a gentleman from the UK while watching the sunrise over the party boats just offshore. About five minutes into the conversation, we both found out the reason why we were there was because of some TH-camr that goes by Coolist highly recommended it. James, your content is amazing and it was so cool to talk about it with a stranger that soon became a friend. We're going to try to cross paths again next year from opposite sides of the globe. Regarding your father, my dad beat Stage 3 Esophageal cancer, and I get to cherish my bonus time with him. I'm happy to see that you had the opportunity to do the same. I can really relate to this video! My dad has 4 stage lung cancer and is suffering on the daily basis. I live in a different state and dread a phone call from my relatives. My dad is on borrowed time right now. I remember my dad when he was young, tall, and handsome but he is very weak and sick right now. It is extremely sad to lose a parent and mentor! I am so sorry that your dad passed away!
Stay strong… my dad passed in March , he was sick but managed well on his own back in Ukraine. We video chatted every Friday but I knew that one day I will receive that dreaded phone call… he went fast and painless… lost consciousness, one week in a coma and that’s it…

On the 10th on July will mark the 1 year to their death. My father was in the hospital for one year straight, pulled through after countless complications, and lived another seven years before the complications caught up with him. Like you, he was an amazing dad and left this life way too soon. He is always in my heart and prayers and his influence on me lives on in my day to day choices in life. It has been many years since his passing. There will always be an empty space but, surprisingly, he remains as much a part of my life now than when he was alive. In time, you will see just how great he was because of how great an influence he had on you. That means he is always there when you need him. Always. Go do you!

James, I’m sorry for your loss. Keep being you sir. I had a similar experience with my mom since I came from a single family household. I gave up a 7 figure business to spend the last 18 months of her life with her. Also like you travel intrigues me to the point I want to consider it. I was paralyzed emotionally and somewhat mentally. Depression set in to the point I became a recluse. I eventually came out of the “hole” when I found out my wife was pregnant with twins (who I named after my mom) about 10 months after my mom died. I knew then life had to go on and it was a blessing. I would love to talk to you personally because we have much in common. The road ahead is wide open. Go be great.

What a moving story! So sorry to hear of your loss. Better to re-title this episode as "Homage to my Dad". So courageous of you to share your pain. Losing a parent is so wrenching. I went to work the morning after getting a 2am call that Mom died. Didn't know what else to do so fell back on the sanity of routine. I'm sure you will find inner resilience. It doesn't matter how often or if you release travel videos, although your viewers love to observe your travels we know you are human and experience both Joy's and losses. No need to apologize. My dad was and will always be my hero, difficult individual, but with a big kind heart. I told myself I'd see/spend time with him in the month of December on his birthday for once and Christmas this year.
I was too late by October 20th. It's been hard for myself, and no one'd understand ever
So sorry to hear about the loss go your dad. I lost mine to stage 4 cancer 12 years ago. It never gets better but it does get a little easier as time passes. There are still times that I go to call home to talk to him and forget he’s not there. This was a brave video and I congratulate you on your courage and openness and the fact that you stay positive.
Watching your videos and traveling has inspired my wife and I we are going to try and start our own channel soon. We will be making our first video in Key West at the end of July.
