Fun part would be the downhill!! Was kind of expecting that to be part of the clip, STEVE.. Props tot the filming/editing crew giving the audience a video zoomout with the real impact of the slab, outside of GoPro's pov.
Stevie "the Hamster" Jones! Kudos to your camera man! To both you guys for almost making it!!! The Drone makes it look flat....;-). Thanks for such a display of effort both for Stevie and the camera dude!
There are 3 stars in this video, Steve, Canyon and the cameraman. The latter must have a name and he deserves all the praise he can get running up the slab with camera/gimbal and no assistance!
What chain ring was mounted? That‘s why I never would change my 32 ring on my Wild for a 34 or larger. To be honest, in the alps I often wish I had a 30 one…
I have tried something like that , less than you have , and I harmed my knees ,, I have been suffering from little Joint roughness since that day !!! Be careful , not all tests are good !
When the bike fell to the side, i had some bad flashbacks of Chris Smith chopping off the tip of his finger with the handlebar. And just few moments later, that scene appeared in the video. Seems the editor noticed the similarity aswell. :-D Luckily Steve had more luck than Chris had that day. ;-)
Thanks for clearing that up. I've heard it a lot suspected it was an exclamation for surprise or disappointment but wasn't really sure but I figured he would know since he used it alot and I was hoping folks wouldn't take it as facetious or flippant. Thanks for the correction In spelling. I figured I hacked it.
@@downhilljedi I'd say the number of people more interested in emtbs since then has warranted a revisit. Stuff like this does help show off what is capable on one, instead of the tired old misconceptions. I think they should have paid a bit of homage to the first one though instead of acting like they didn't try it before. They only made it 3/4 of the way last time though so..
BIG props to the cameraman who kept pace with Steve on foot! And BIG props to Steve for doing this at least twice for the drone shots!
Thanks! Our camera operators are the unsung heroes 🙌
Both you and your crew worked their Ass off Steve. 😂❤Well done

Well done, that climb is insane. 👍🏻🚲
Good job!!! I'm impressed with the camera guy!! Awesome job man!!
That was truly awesome. Well done Steve!! You are a legend.💪
Amazing work Steve. I was literally saying "holy crap" the whole time you were climbing that thing. I feel exhausted just watching you!
he celebrated with a 'holey crap' at the top!
Geddon Steve... what a machine... and the Canyon ain't bad either!
Crazy gradient! Kuddos to you! ❤
Well done amazing to watch would love to give it go
Excellent 👌
Astounding! Steve you are now officially a mega legend!
Location 45°50'56"N 11°01'29"E
Stevie man magnificent I've no idea how you held that together but you did brilliant 👏 👏💯👌🏾
Well that is a turbo climb for sure 😮
Waht about using the TQ Motor with 120nm?
About trying with the new DJI EMTB
Congratulations, it was an amazing insane climb.

My stomach flipped so many times watching this! Amazing!!
There's mountain biking and then there's mountain biking with some serious prowess and big balls
It would be nice to know what setting Steve used on the bike (power, gear...)
Amazing...Epic climb, specially at our age💪💪💪...in which part of Italy is that Slab? Is it in the area of Verona?
I think it's just above Lake Garda, north East shore
Arco?

Fantastic effort.
Bravely done! So, we don't have to! Bonus, while talking...👊
The fact that Steve could just talk and wasn't really out of breath during this says a lot about the level of assistance the motor gives.
Bet you downed a few beers 🍻 after that epic workout Steve
thundercheeks Jones! :D well done mate
What is the gradient and elevation difference from top to bottom?
Wow, simply Wow!
If anyone else tries it and makes it to the top, Steve left a reward for you.
Brilliant, legend!
There's one I've learnt watching Steve doing the rocky climbs. To never go there and try them myself. Let someone else do them.
What chain ring was mounted? That‘s why I never would change my 32 ring on my Wild for a 34 or larger. To be honest, in the alps I often wish I had a 30 one…
I run a 30 on my regular mtb! who cares about top speed anyways...?
@@jokermtbmy words, fully agree,
The end splat ..lol get well Steve
😂😂😂the end Steve 😮😅
How did you get down?
What's your height ? And what's size of frame are you riding ?
INSANE CLIMB... 👌
Thanks for your answer 👍😁... 🔥

Wow~~ Rock great
I can't imagine riding that with an impending Bubbler....!
Hat's off to you

Well done 👍🏻 and done an ultimative long nose wheely 👍🏻😉
A thumbs up for both you and the cameraman. If I could, I'd give two thumbs up.
Thanks Scott 👍👍
This is where the Rocky Mountain would truly shine 🦾
Great job!!! How much of that battery was drained?
Respect 👍🏼 I can remember such sections, but they were only 10m long or so.
Thanks 👍 This one's a whole different level!
That was a Phenomenal hill climb! 😲Bound to be a blast going down it though (if youre brave enough 😂) Excellent! thanks for sharing
Great good Job Congrats boaaaaaaaa
Awesome climb!
Amazing!!!! What was the bike of choice for this achievement?
Well done Steve - well deserved squat too🤣
Using this video for my geology a level revision for next week
We wish this had been around for our exam revision! Best of luck 🤞
Looked like you needed an even lower bottom gear. It'd be good to see some stats on the steepness of the climb etc
I'm pretty sure that Pilgrim has a video riding DOWN this thing. Dude's a boss!
Bravo, should be trophies to the people than can do it.
I"m with you !
Impressive 💪
whats the gradient angle?
That was a awesome video
Thanks Alf!
Hats off to the camera man..and the rider
Can you do it again please and see how much battery you used
The end was epic he needs to dump 😂😅
Epic climb
Think it be easier with Rocky Mountain power play with the over 100 nm of power?
Holy shit, almost took out the camera man! ..Good thing he's invincible.
Anybody know the evaluation for the Slab?
Does anyone know where this is?
Might be easier with a reverse mini mullet setup (26 front, 29 rear), also lower bars, more fork sag
@@downhill64 reverse the wheel when you going down
@@zhouye7647 reverse the wheel, flip the stem, pump up the fork :)
What is that, 40 degree of slope grade or what? Amazing, congrats!
How much battery did that consume?
Time to Session it DH now lol
Where is this?
Well done that’s some achievement the GoPro affect doesn’t do this any justice what’s so ever till the horizontal shot where it’s equal to you
Io vivo qui! Rovereto Trentino Italia
Wot, no SPDs?! 🙈
We’ll done Steve, what size bike are you riding?
Is this a natural formation, or artifical?
Artificial for sure in order to prevent landslides
Won't lie I've one of the gmbn and ebike haters at times but but this gets my respect so does that motor 👍
But how did you get down?
Wow! That's insane! And what the heck was the cameraman doing chasing after you when you had to go.... well, you know 🙂
Ohh it's an advert, as I thought you had done something very similar with criss in the past on another ebike 😂
How many %?
Where is the Downhill Part?
I want to see the Rocky Mountain powerplay dom that
What does "cry key" mean? 😊
Crikey. Something people often say when surprised
It's a mutation of 'Christ' as in 'Jesus Christ!'.
Thanks for clearing that up.

What size was it, Steve? M or L?
Respect! And for the camera guy!
But not so much for the dummy who defaced that beautiful rock slab with his own graffiti.
would running the forks at, say, 85% sag helped. Or is that cheating?
Surprised you didn't wear knee / elbow pads for this Steve? :O
Again the slab? Weren't you there with Chris 3 years ago?
Running out of ideas.
Believe the one with Chris was Bristol slab this is on a different level

Is this the one brendon fairclough threw himself down
I did a wheelie up and frontwheelie down, but gopro stopped recording, for sure
That does not look easy 👀
now ride it down
I think if I attempted that, constipation would certainly not be a problem.
Only Bosch can handle that!!! 👍👍
Now ride down it! 😂
7:30 Poor bike.
