I didn't think I wanted to watch a 23 minute video about wireless brakes... I was wrong. It's a testament to both presenters in making something so stupid so much fun to watch!
MKII... - Throw some proper levers on there so you have much better modulation control. - Combine with an FPV camera and headset so Neil can see everything from Blakes POV allowing him to read the trail and speeds better.
🤣Whenever I see Neil laugh the most it's always at Blake's expense. No coincidence there. Neil is definitely starting to reveal a much more wicked sense of humour we rarely see on camera.
You guys should absolutely turn this into a sport! This would be amazing to watch two people one in a first FPV The other one on the bike bombing a mountain. That would be absolutely amazing to watch!
great video, Neil and Blale together = great content. was laughing throughout this video! that gap was the first feature i ever tried on my hardtail, but i had control of my brakes...
This is hands down one of the best and funniest videos that you two have ever made. I watch the video when Blake made the remote brakes. But now with Neil in control of your braking, it is flippin' hilarious!!! I couldn't stop laughing. Great Job guys!
The next step could be Neil having the POV of Blake (with a VR headset, the same as drone operators). With Neil having the control of braking and gear shifting. While Blake have to do some (technical?) uphill and some downhill (not harder than the trails in this video though). And maybe compete with other GMBN crew members.
Well Neil just proved he is more mischievous than we first thought and Blake just proved he is the ultimate dare devil by trusting the mischievous Neil. Meanwhile Jack the camera man has probably thought does he become an accessory if it all goes south. Great video guys.
quality vid guys and a laugh a minute. Defo Blake to manage the brakes for Neil following the same challenge as Blake - a sif by side comparison to see who is better at trust.
Definitely want a V2 of these brakes! I'd say the top 3 items would be to use two different (and less powerful) servos, work on those levers (stronger construction with stiffer spring), and see if those transmitters work with 3.7v battery packs (rechargeable and far easier/cheaper/compact than using the 3x1.5v AA battery packs)
Absolutely brilliant! I'm in total agreement with the others who said VR goggles and maybe combine them with that mk2 of the brake levers Blake was hinting at.
Love the lead in boys, I can see why Blake didn't trust Neil, because as when he made them he said he would likely not trust anyone with their activation of the brakes. I said right at the start that I wanted a set. Yeah Brakes Neil, keep you wheels in the track Blake. Whistler Bike park, though that might Kill Blake
LOL.... Love this video very much. May be next both you can try use a VR. So blake ride with no brake only use camera, and Neil use a VR connect to blake camera.... Cant wait to see the video 😂
Was this filmed in the woods near windhill? I swear I recognise those words and the lake but I haven't ridden there in a good while. Sweet video as always guys 👌.
Blake needs to make a second set up, but run them on opposing bikes. Then Neil and Blake could have a down hill race with each of them controlling the other bike. What could possibly go wrong?
Neil and Blake back at it again. Although I have to say this is a nice swap, as Neil was remembering being Gromit on Blake’s Frankenstein side car! 🤔😩😂
The set up could use some work so that the controler doesn't the brake the levers and so that there is actually some modulation. Very funny video though and a great idea!
I think I'd prefer to do the Hardline river gap than have my mate remote control my brakes. Even in an open, flat paddock. Funniest video I've seen for a long time. Thanks guys.
I wonder if instead of using a linear spring for the brake levers if you used something like a hard elastomer to simulate the feeling of the pads pressing against the rotors so you could modulate more naturally
The next step is to have the brakes controlled by something like a raspberry PI and pre-program the brakes for a specific trail. No manual input necessary.
Send this video to a friend and let us know in the comments if they would trust you to control their bike brakes!? 🤣
i'm telling you now, my friends should not trust me with their brakes
we need to see this again with and FPV system setup =)
I would get him long distance away cycling to you as you got brakes applied so he stops when get signal as easier to know range
You should give neil fpv goggles and blake the camera
Came here to say exactly this! Level up the setup so Neil can better judge the speed on the trail
This.
@@gollz365 same
Also came here to say this, full trail Neil wearing fpv goggles 😎
Im worried about the camera not showing the steepness very well though. Would be cool to test.
I didn't think I wanted to watch a 23 minute video about wireless brakes... I was wrong.
It's a testament to both presenters in making something so stupid so much fun to watch!
They're one of our favourite inventions!
That could be a new game if you had teams of two racing against each other 😅😮
a brutal game!
@gmbn 🤣😁😀 maybe put Blake in a remote controlled plain
Definitely great idea imagine this downhill racing!!
@@anthonypantzillar8862 I'd love to see that 👍🏾
MKII...

You just dont know how to have fun brother
One of the funniest things I’ve ever seen
glad you liked it!
It was funny 🤣 awesome guys...I think Neil should definitely ride and let Blake use the brakes ...we need a swap video.....😅
@@gmbn Neil Let go. Neil Let Go! Let go Neil! I was dying laughing.
🤣Whenever I see Neil laugh the most it's always at Blake's expense. No coincidence there. Neil is definitely starting to reveal a much more wicked sense of humour we rarely see on camera.
I loved hearing the cameraman's laugh at 18:34!! Lots of fun, thanks for the video.
You guys should absolutely turn this into a sport! This would be amazing to watch two people one in a first FPV The other one on the bike bombing a mountain. That would be absolutely amazing to watch!
The delay would be insane 😂
Blake needs to control Neils brakes for some sweet payback haha
For sure !! I wanna see that as well !
Nah
Fit them to the Tandem and get Ashton to do the braking and blake on the steering. 🤣
😂 You guys are nuts. 😂🤣🤣 Good on Blake trusting Neil like that.
You guys should have a game of B.I.K.E between you two and Sam and Lewi Pilgrim with that setup.... 🤣
Yes !!!!
Yes
We need to get our hands on a set!
@gcn 👀😳. I wonder who would be a great test dummy…er, rider? 🤔
This needs to happen!
We might have found and 'borrowed' the calipers from your floor when we gave them to Blake to see if he could make the crazy idea a reality.
@@nmcelroy3540 Hank of course.
Fantastic video... had me crying with laughter. Well done guys
great video, Neil and Blale together = great content. was laughing throughout this video!
that gap was the first feature i ever tried on my hardtail, but i had control of my brakes...
Thats why I love GMBN...
Never seen Neil laugh so much, brilliant!
Blake should enter Rampage with Niel doing the braking for him 🤟😀
This was absolutely the best video I’ve seen in a while. I wish we could see Blakes face impressions while riding.
That set up on Martyns tandem would be wild.
flipping brilliant guys, one of the funniest things I've ever watched. 🤣🤣🤣
Such a great episode, had me in stitches throughout 😂 the level of trust is something you would only share with your best mates
This is hands down one of the best and funniest videos that you two have ever made. I watch the video when Blake made the remote brakes.

I had beer flying out of my nose, thanks for that fellers, you made my whole weekend 🤣👍👍
Next step is to put a camera on the bike connected to a VR headset to be used with the brake levers
this is one of your best videos, and i've seen many many many many of your videos. so funny.
You guys should put them on the random tandem. Leavers on the back bars. It could be fun lol
You could easily hear adrenaline rush in Blake's reactions! 😂😂😂
Great one!
Predicable hilarity! I'm only surprised it took this long to make the video. DO NOT. I repeat. DO NOT let Ashton anywhere near this.
Too right
😂😂😂
Ive had a shitty day, this made me smile, giggle and at 18:21 lmao! Thank you Mr Samson, Mr Donoghue and entire GMBN crew!
Glad we could help
Hahah. Remote controlled Blake!!!!
By far one of the funniest vids from you guys of late!
quality vid guys and a laugh a minute. Defo Blake to manage the brakes for Neil following the same challenge as Blake - a sif by side comparison to see who is better at trust.

Love this... you two enjoyed that... Good job and flyby wire brakes are coming.. 😊.
Absolutely brilliant! I'm in total agreement with the others who said VR goggles and maybe combine them with that mk2 of the brake levers Blake was hinting at.
Brilliant Boys! I see the future changing because of your invention Blake! Neil before Sod. Well Good Gents. - M
Everyone should have a 'stunt Blake' 😂
That was so much fun to watch!! Love your energy so much! Thanks for sharing.
One of the best videos I've seen for a long time! Great work!
These are the shenanigans that I love from you guys 😂 VR and helmet can next time for Neil 😊
OMG you had me crying with laughter so much i had to keep pausing the videos to clear my eyes absolutely top draw this one. 😂😂
This is so awesome! Some sort of tactile feedback would be really cool in MK2!
Got a Ty gear shifting next, get some climbs and technical. So much fun to watch, comedy duo geniuses

Both u dudes is seriously damn funny... 😂
Blake is always full of laughing gas.
OMG I laughed the shit off.... 😂
Was this filmed in the woods near windhill? I swear I recognise those words and the lake but I haven't ridden there in a good while. Sweet video as always guys 👌.
yes it is, the range rest was shearwater lake
Simply brilliant, couldn't stop laughing at how much fun this job must be for you guys!!
The best job in the world 🤘
Blake needs to make a second set up, but run them on opposing bikes.

This is some steller content! Love this, what a way to mess with your buddies!
Brilliant video, had me in stitches
Definitely need a version 2 making go see hope bet they can make some then get Neil on them
Best GMBN video in ages
Now that looks fun 😂
Not sure what's more impressive, building the brakes in the first place, or having that much trust in someone else controlling them 😂
Was crying with laughter at most of that. Brilliant.
easily one of the must fun vids
This is hilarious and nightmare fuel at the same time.
This is brilliant! Great stuff lads
This was awesome 🤩
Could you add remote gears and remote dropper post to the handlebars? 🤔🤩🙌
you need a pov cam for the controller like a drone view on camera then you can see where and when to break.. fun video
Neil and Blake back at it again. Although I have to say this is a nice swap, as Neil was remembering being Gromit on Blake’s Frankenstein side car! 🤔😩😂
That's true, I forgot about that
Moreeee pleaaaase 😂👍🏾
Best video since game of bike wheeling around the tree.
Very entertaining, not sure how you can step that up safely!
Absolutely hilarious video!
Looks like a lot of fun!
Every time he says, Neil, it sounds like a curse word 😂 great video
Need to swap the shifter and wireless brakes and then race. Each rider controls the other's shifting and breaking. haha
This is the funniest vid for a longggg time keep it up boys! 🤣
Thanks for watching :)
Blake and Neil, playing like brothers.
@gmbn what Smith helmets are the lads wearing?
The Smith Forefront 2 🤙
This vid cracked me up start to finish
The joy's infections guys. Great, silly, fun. Next level: fit the remote controllers to the rear of the Random Tandem!!!
Megavalanche or Whistler! Put Neil with Blakes brakes on the back of the random tandem and make Martin ride Neil down!
This is next level content
The set up could use some work so that the controler doesn't the brake the levers and so that there is actually some modulation.
Very funny video though and a great idea!
Let get some trials on the go with Martyn on the brakes. 🤘
I'd love this to be a product to be able to mess around with the boys!
Wireless brake random tandem or get Pilgrim, to have a go?
The range is insane from these remote brake levers. "DON'T HIT THE FRONT BRAKE NEIL!" 🤨
🤣😂
haha
I think I'd prefer to do the Hardline river gap than have my mate remote control my brakes. Even in an open, flat paddock. Funniest video I've seen for a long time. Thanks guys.

Best video ever ❤
Blake your next upgrade to the brakes has got to be some sort of modulation hahahaha it must have been soo scary letting Neil slam them on for you 🙈
this is awesome!
9:00 finger in the lens classic
You need another set of wireless brakes and ride together but controlling each others brakes instead. That would be even awesome
It'd be so cool to prank the other presenters by swapping their brake system for this one!
one of the funniest ones on the channel
amazing work❤
next level: vr headset giving neil a first person view?
Cool idea
I think you could record the breaking down a whole trail then programme it into the breaks, so that your bike breaks when you need it to.
How long is that dropper post on your spindrift? Is it the 125mm version?
Idea: implement a sound indicator when someone hit the brakes. So you can go faster and don't get suprised.😀
