Probably the best video I've seen so far on EMBN . Brilliant. Give us more like this..The aerial shots were incredible as were the views. Proves what can be reached and ridden on emtbs. Molehills by comparison but I'm off for a blast up the Black Mountains!!
I've been planning a trip like this in Switzerland over the summer. Love to see more content like this. I feel like this is what EMTBs were actually designed for.
My wife's grandfather was a civil engineer and built the Mauvoisin dam; being an engineer myself, I inherited the construction plans from him. Unfortunately I've never visited the dam, but seing your video I'll definately take my new Radon Deft 10.0 there!
Wow what a fantastic video guys well done 👏 it was great to see Richard on here challenging an ebike as we all know he doesn't really ride ebikes so that fresh new perspective is very welcome. Epic shots from the camera man aswell top job sir.👌
Quality video guys , more of this please it shows how good bikes are so well, as an ex ski tourer this resinates fully with me and is now on my bucket list once retired
Great video guys. Love seeing Rich cross over to the EMBN channel once in awhile. Since I have both MTB and eMTB, it allows me to compare the fun I can achieve on both. This video was so full of those "screen saver" shots - loved this so much. Thanks guys for the excellent content.
Bloody heck!! Haven't seen a video like that from you guys for a while. Epic, and Tito done a great job there too and also must not forget the camera guy. Fantastic and thank you.
wow what a place ahy.......yeah looks like an ebike certainly makes up for the really difficult parts of these mountain ranges, what a great job your mtb tour guide has, i would never have thought such a thing exists but there you go, your job not to bad either rich, the scenery was spectacular, i love that were you are at the same level as the clouds...pretty breath taking, exspecially at sunrise & sunset
I realise this is paid promotion & the ebikes are brilliant but the vlog is too short, I could happily sit here for an hour and enjoy this epic adventure 😀
I'm a gmbn guy all the way but I have to say.... watching this with Rich absolutely loving it on the ebike and the places you can go are just spectacular! Absolutely loved this !! So glad a tuned in to gmbn for this . Awesome, 👌🏽
It’s a very good video but I wouldn’t say it’s the best on EMBN the boys have done quite a lot of incredible adventure video’s over the years and long may they continue doing so.
Amazing scenery, real mountains and a great adventure... If you can drive your car/van down (as an ebike is too heavy to bring on your flight) to the Italian/Swiss alps with your eBike then it will save you from hiring one. Also ensure that you have a spare battery in your backpack with the ability to change it out on the trail. Also will need a place each night to charge both batteries for the next day. A good strong ability to carry a 25Kg bike on your back up and down steep rocky areas. A Professional guide to accompany you on a trip like this should you need to leave the trails due to a flat battery while in the high mountains.. Other than that you're set!
What a pleasure to watch, thanks guys, thats ebiking! ⚡️ Did the Col Lauson at 3299m this summer from Aosta Valley, love the mountains over there ✌🏻 can you pls share the gpx route of this brillant adventure?
Sweet. I’ll look Tito up. For those who have never seen his videos, check out Alexis Righetti. It seems the Alps rule for this kind of stuff. Again, bravo.
Epic....suppose I'm luckier than most in the UK though with the Cairngorms out my front door and the Monadhliath mountains "over the road" (A9) !! Good luck changing the luddites over at GMBN though, too many of them are too fond of taking their bike for a long walk rather than riding them...
❤ awesome ride and scenery. As mentioned by others super weather dependant at those altitudes and needs to be within the hut opening season. You should add more of these style of vids! Watched the Paradiso section avidly having lost my ACL ski touring there a while ago. Did you call into the Betsy Hut on the way down?
Simply, THE best content 👌... unbelievable and incredibly motivating...... motivation to completely empty my bank account 🤣... we only live once right ? ...
Quick question for clarification... on each day both riders used two batteries? It's not totally clear if that was the case for every leg if the mountain traverse.
Totally sold the bike, guide, and route...or they sold themselves. Problem is, I don’t have that kinda cash, so have to content myself with the Rocky Mountain west...still, an epic ride and great episode-thanks!
Wow lads sik vid. Thanks I luv kona bikes I finks I betta get me the Remote . But I am a lil biased 😂😂 because I already own A Kona Stuff & Kona Operator 2018 Dh bike.
No one can climb the Fenêtre de Durand on the bike. Not even an E-bike. Images of the last section are not representative. Once you cross the wooden bridge it's over.
So that’s a mid powered bike and not even one of the lightweight ones and you smashed it on actual proper mountain rides, for an average kind of fitness rider climbing fire roads to do descents mid power lightweight is looking pretty good.
The Kona Remote the most disappointing e-bike I have owned. Great handling, but the weight of the bike and the tiny battery that can't be upgraded was a real disappointment.
wow, kona are so far behind the game, they're not even playing the same sport. 504 kwh battery with 60 nm of torque?! i'm sorry i love kona they're an awesome company, but come on, they could do so much more with their flagship ebike than this, it's not 2016 it's 2022!
Where is your dream riding location? Let us know 👇
Patagonian Trail.
Or some part of it would a dream adventure.
I’ll look forward to watching it
But I guess Europe has lots to offer
Probably the best video I've seen so far on EMBN . Brilliant. Give us more like this..The aerial shots were incredible as were the views. Proves what can be reached and ridden on emtbs. Molehills by comparison but I'm off for a blast up the Black Mountains!!
Great to hear the amazing feedback Danni 🙌
Ah thanks for the kind words mate I thoroughly loved it
Exactly my thoughts!
Exactly what ebikes were made for - exploring. Great video as usual 🙌
We couldn't agree more!
Another epic trip on EMBN! Jealous!
I've been planning a trip like this in Switzerland over the summer. Love to see more content like this. I feel like this is what EMTBs were actually designed for.
That's awesome to hear, yes EMTBs really do open up so much more room for adventure!
Impressed by the skill of your cameraman. Riding that and filming. Wow.
Yes lads! An episode on flying abroad with e bikes would be one I’m sure a lot of us would like to see. Quality episode, drone shots were 👌🍻
Hey Matty! Thanks for the suggestion! Is there anything else you'd like to see on the channel? Glad you enjoyed the video!
This video sums up pretty well what I love about mountainbiking. The editing of the video, the selection of the tour and the music are a piece of art.
Welcome Rich! You have only scratched the surface of what there is to ride here. If you ever come back.
Ah thanks James it was my pleasure and can’t wait to tick of some more ebike bits and pieces
I have watched this video at least 10 times. This would be my ultimate dream ride. Well parts of it anyway. I hope EMBN will do more of these.
What an Epic Kona advert😂😂😂……Beautiful country 👌
Quality video guys , more of this please it shows how good bikes are so well, as an ex ski tourer this resinates fully with me and is now on my bucket list once retired

Thanks so much, Steve! We loved having Rich over on the channel! You're right about the screen saver shots! 😂
Bloody heck!! Haven't seen a video like that from you guys for a while. Epic, and Tito done a great job there too and also must not forget the camera guy. Fantastic and thank you.
Wow. My type of ride. Brilliant! You guys were so lucky with the weather. How cool are those mountain huts!
Thanks! Yeah, we got very lucky with the weather! It was so beautiful! The mountain huts were so cool. 👍
Just such an amazing trip, trails, riding and the scenery is spectacular. Great filming so yes lots more of these please 👍👍
Dude outstanding looked wicked good
Thanks, Nathan! It really was!

Wow, that tour looked amazing! that first leg is something I will do next summer.
Nice, Gavin! Best of luck and safe riding! 👍
Best video for a long time, this is what ebikes are made for.
Thanks so much! We agree! 👊
Bucket list stuff, absolutely beautiful 😊
I realise this is paid promotion & the ebikes are brilliant but the vlog is too short, I could happily sit here for an hour and enjoy this epic adventure 😀
These epic bike trip videos are the best!
This video makes me dreaming!!!
Magnifique !!amazing !beautiful!! Great team ;)
Great video🎉
Thank you! We're stoked you enjoyed it! 😁

I absolutely love emtb adventures. Totally jealous!
looks bloody fantastic

Wow, epic ride and beautiful scenery. I just wanna get out there now! Thanks all
Go for it! It's honestly spectacular! Thanks for watching! 👍
You Provide me with a Destination to Make a Cycling Tour on it. Hopefully, Will Visit Soon. Thanks for Sharing!

That was Epic!
100%! Rich and Tito smashed this ride!
Amazing!!
That looks epic. I would love to do that.
Beautiful vid guys..... loved it, inspiring
Inspiring adventure lads.
Passionate emtb rider terrain, highly dependent upon the weather I would say!!
Thanks! Absolutely, it wouldn't be as fun in the rain or snow! 😅
What a pleasure to watch, thanks guys, thats ebiking! ⚡️ Did the Col Lauson at 3299m this summer from Aosta Valley, love the mountains over there ✌🏻 can you pls share the gpx route of this brillant adventure?
Thanks Heinrich it was such a good ride and I love it. All the routes we did are up on my Komoot
Incredible! Would you mind sharing your Komoot routes ?
Brill vid, fantastic vista,s EBikes at their best.
100% agree! Would you take on this ride?
Have many km did you do and how many times did you charged the battery ?
Pure pleasure to watch this footage
Great great ride boys👌🏾.
Bravo
🙌
Best video yet!!!! Loved it
Glad you liked it! What was your favourite part? Thanks for your support!
@@embn The whole video from start to finish was brilliant. I must admit the views were definitely a highlight!!!
Absolutely awesome inspiring tour. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it! We loved making this one! It was cool to have Rich on the channel again. 👍
awesome!!!...
Thanks, Tony!!
Great video in a Great location ❤
Thanks, Anita! It was one of the most beautiful riding locations we've possibly ever been to!
just insane
Sweet. I’ll look Tito up. For those who have never seen his videos, check out Alexis Righetti. It seems the Alps rule for this kind of stuff. Again, bravo.

Glad you enjoyed it, Steve! It was great having Rich on the channel to switch things up! 👍
@@embn God bless.🙋
My next dream, which hopefully can be turned into an adventure! I love the Swiss Alps, the Italian and French ones too of course...
The alps are such a beautiful location for e-biking! We'd highly recommend it! 😉 What country would you go to for alpine riding?
❤ awesome ride and scenery. As mentioned by others super weather dependant at those altitudes and needs to be within the hut opening season. You should add more of these style of vids! Did the new Kona Remotes incorporate the bigger battery 630 watt hour at least?
Fantastic video! Does anyone know what helmet Tito's wearing? The red one with graphics?
I think it was an Urge he custom painted
Ah, Richard Payne, I think you're right! I knew I'd seen that unique hole in the visor but couldn't remember the brand. Thanks!
Amazing journey!! is it possible to have the gpx file on komoot? thanks
Are you riding with eco mode all the time?
Hey Rich, you guys running tubeless?
Yeah dude tubeless front and rear
Did you have two battery’s each ? And charge them both every night ? Epic video
Perfect brand name if you live in Portugal 😁… 😜
How you guys charged the bikes?
Can you show me the bit where you rode on the glacier? I can't seem to find it.
Quick question for clarification... on each day both riders used two batteries? It's not totally clear if that was the case for every leg if the mountain traverse.
Steve is going to be regretting not going on this one...
Don’t worry I sent him some pics whilst I was doing it so he didn’t miss out 😅
I know that Swiss are pretty strict about riding on hiking trails. Did you face any complaints?
That's not true at all, here in Switzerland you're allowed on any trail!
@@stgirat you mean all biking trails :)
Most Wanderwege are usually off limits for MTBs
I know what i'm doing next year
But how would you beat that in the uk
Brilliant vid
Haha! Go for it! A ride around the Forest of Dean doesn't really hit the same as the Swiss alps! 😂
Totally sold the bike, guide, and route...or they sold themselves. Problem is, I don’t have that kinda cash, so have to content myself with the Rocky Mountain west...still, an epic ride and great episode-thanks!
could you have done it on a normal trail bike?
My haibike with 120 nm of power in high mode will climb a 1000 m so why take a low power ebike?
Yuhuu
👍👍👍👍👍
👍👍👍
thats a nice bike but the battery its just to low.. nice fork upgrade
I bet that supermarket stop cost you an absolute fortune? But hey, who gives a sh1t when GMBN are picking up the tab am I right?
Wow lads sik vid. Thanks I luv kona bikes I finks I betta get me the Remote . But I am a lil biased 😂😂 because I already own A Kona Stuff & Kona Operator 2018 Dh bike.
You only live once în this earth
Thanks, it was a great one to make! Yeah, the Kona Remote 160 proved to be an absolute beast on this ride!
@@embn Your totally welcome thanks
No one can climb the Fenêtre de Durand on the bike. Not even an E-bike. Images of the last section are not representative. Once you cross the wooden bridge it's over.
It's a shame Kona still run a 500wh battery
So that’s a mid powered bike and not even one of the lightweight ones and you smashed it on actual proper mountain rides, for an average kind of fitness rider climbing fire roads to do descents mid power lightweight is looking pretty good.
On E-machines!? Too bad..! ;)
I just don’t get why these 100 year old hiking trails are called suddenly emtb trails…
Yes, you could do it, doesn’t mean that you should.
The Kona Remote the most disappointing e-bike I have owned. Great handling, but the weight of the bike and the tiny battery that can't be upgraded was a real disappointment.
wow, kona are so far behind the game, they're not even playing the same sport.

fantastic trip and video, rubbish bike, why ? i would have taken a super light bike for all the carrying
E BIKE
HELL NOOO.
Yamaha system much better
do not buy any bike with e7000 !!!!
Looking forward to seeing how you charge the battery
