    What a good find, finding your channel and watching this video I knew straight away that your knowledge was going to help me. But not only that, your straight to it time constraint delivery for this kind of subject matter makes the viewer, well me at least, can’t talk for others, sit up and listen, attention held and the material sinks in. Now subscribed, can’t hang around I have to watch your play lists!! Thanks Otto. 👏

    How do you shoot handheld?

    • @OttoJulian_
      @OttoJulian_  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Same steps as flying the drone, but instead of taking off, on the main screen just hit record and move the drone with your hand as if it was a camera. (for obvious reasons, it will feel different and you still need to move it smoothly to avoid rough movements)

    In this video, you said that a power bank "cannot be used to charge" the Air 2s batteries outside... What you didn't explain is WHY it can't be done. Can you share that information?

    • @OttoJulian_
      @OttoJulian_  ปีที่แล้ว

      you need to plug the charger to an actual electrical outlet.

  • @anshummandore

    Nice video. Just a note... Active track on the Air 2S does not work in any mode other than 1080 - 30 fps. Not even in 1080, 60 fps let alone 4k. This is my biggest disappointment with it.

    • @OttoJulian_
      @OttoJulian_  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      hi! I think you might be doing something wrong, all my shots with active track were done in 4K at 24fps

  • @joshuacasabuena

    Hi sir, thank you for this video.
    I have a question, do I still need to remove the SD Card whenever I am not using the drone, or is it ok to be stored inside the drone for a long period of time?
    Another question, do I still need to charge each battery (to activate) before putting it in the drone for the first time?
    I hope you reply on my comment.
    Thank you.

    • @OttoJulian_
      @OttoJulian_  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      hello. You don't need to remove your SD card from the drone, I always leave mine there and there are no issues.
      New battery will need to be activated by charging it.

    • @joshuacasabuena
      @joshuacasabuena 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@OttoJulian_ Thank you so much sir for replying. I have another questions. How many percentage does the battery needs to have for storing it for several days of not using it? I have also read some statements that it should not be fully charged when not in use.
      Another, Does it need to calibrate the compass and IMU from time to time when flying the drone?

  • @MikeFlysVideo
    @MikeFlysVideo ปีที่แล้ว

    Why can't you charge the batteries with a power pack?

    • @OttoJulian_
      @OttoJulian_  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      not sure what you mean, but these batteries have a special connector.

    • @MikeFlysVideo
      @MikeFlysVideo ปีที่แล้ว

      @@OttoJulian_ Yup and the DJI charger connects to that, and the charger plugs into my power pack, and the batteries charge in the field or anywhere.
      You stated in the video they cannot be charged with a power pack, so either we each mean something different by "Power Pack" or you need a bigger/better one.

    Hi Otto
    Actually, I loved your lighting and I'd love to know what are lights that you are using in the background and how far are you from the background. I am looking to do the same and I did that before in my first video.
    th-cam.com/video/SsTBvYE2jIU/w-d-xo.html
    Also, if you can tell me about your key light that will be great as I am thinking of getting the Aputure 100d instead of the bulbs that I am using right now to have more control in dimming the light.
    Thank you in advance.
