I can tell you that Darrell is 100% authentic, he is really a genuine, caring person who has gone out to me and my family in more ways than golf. I will say that since I met Darrell my Handicap has gone from 13.2 to 8.5 where it sits today, he has also helped my son solidify his place on the high school Varsity Golf team in our area.
Thx Darrel. You opened my eyes. I listened to a lot of other guys, but you make it fun to hit the ball. I think we amateurs want to do it too perfect and too much as those guys on tour. We must start enjoying the swing.
Mr. Herrera, hi. If you come Ott or swing left, the only way the club is at impact, without interfering with the harnessing of centrifugal force and leverage, which we call a manipulation, not a swing, is open and to target line AND laid back. In this sense, since laying back aspect accounts for the high and right flight section of ball movement, D Plane is reduced to equivaleny with Open face.
Darrell, you are the best virtual teacher I’ve found yet! Question is, if I need to close the club face more at impact to draw the ball, what do I do with my hands? Or what do I do period? I’ve got the ball path started off on the right path, but am having troubles drawing it back....
Hi Darrell...Trackman actually tells us that "initial flight" is dictated predominantly by face angle. I wish I could explain fully but it would take too long as I am not an expert. But I do recommend looking into the concept of the "D-Plane."
I've been doing what this video teaches and I hit it sweeter than guys who've been playing for years. I've been playing for 2 months. Track man can kiss my ass. Over analysing is not always good. Paralysis by analysis. Go by feel and results.
One way to think about it is looking at swing from the side instead of from above. ie. "how does a lofted club hit ball sitting on the ground into the air?". The path of the club is descending into the ground but the face is pointing up into the air. If the ball followed the path it would be crushed into the ground instead of fly up in the air. Instead the ball flies off the face very close to the direction the face is pointing. Before the ball leaves the face it will roll up the face adding backspin to ball adding "magnus" uplift to the ball. If you then take this concept to a birds eye view you can see that ball will mostly go in direction of face and if the path and face aren't pointing the same direction you will get side spin. Years ago I learned it the way Darrell explained it but even without Trackman it doesn't make sense and I can't believe physics people weren't able to eliminate that train of thought long before Trackman came about.
power point DVD is well worth watching and implementing. How to curve the ball either way (shot maker), like with a ping pong ball, does not integrate with power point. However, power point thoughts and application is really effective.
Pino: That's from a WIDE OPEN club face. You are PULLING the club through with the heel of your right hand. Close the face and you will wee it is almost impossible to shank the ball.
Dear Darrell, They say a Draw id longer than a Fade...Im Right handed my Brother is left handed everytime he sees me (slice the ball to the right )he says "Man what a beautiful Draw, everytime i see him draw THE BALL i say " Man you gotta stop slicing the ball ! i think the idea of a Draw going further is Pure BOLOGNW !! What say you ???
When am I going to get the notes on the golf game I payed you 7 dollars for and my credit has taken out of my account not at all happy about the situation tony fisher
98 per cent of golfers are LATE at impact. :-- cricket shot. wedge, 9 iron brain kicks in result, Pull. reason, easy, your hands same difference away from your thighs with Wedge as Driver? doubt it! only Greg Norman did that! THATS PHYSICS.

Darrell you saved my golfing life. Genius teacher.

If I tee high and close face get a draw, if I tee low and open face I hit a powerful.
This is what I worked out with my coach.

Very interesting, however trackman suggests that path equals curve and face angel is starting direction. You teach the opposit??
Actually the relationship between the path and face angle dictate curve.
power point DVD is well worth watching and implementing. How to curve the ball either way (shot maker), like with a ping pong ball, does not integrate with power point. However, power point thoughts and application is really effective.
I think this is your best video
Is the club face square to the ball at address or slightly open and then swing to the power point?
My shank goes right and curves right almost 80 degrees to the right with good trajectory hitting off the heel of my wedge. How would you fix this?
Pino: That's from a WIDE OPEN club face. You are PULLING the club through with the heel of your right hand. Close the face and you will wee it is almost impossible to shank the ball.
Thanks Darrell.
wow I found this so very interesting Darrelwill apply your ideas right nowcheersmick
