How fitting that just yesterday I did my first ever rinseless wash, outside and in direct sunlight. I was working alone though and used Yvan's advice to go one panel at a time. I've decontaminated today and about half the truck is now polished (I'm taking a break) and I'm thrilled with the results I'm getting. A lot of thanks to Yvan and Nick (and Apex Detail) videos!
Great job!!! Now try it without access to a water hose. I have to do everything at the self-serve and with minimal time and items. One bucket, pump hand sprayer. Yes, I've watched self-serve tutorials, it's just a real dilemma.
@@diydetailofficial, and I have to everything outside other than the wash. Yes, it's a terrible situation. Definitely not in the market for a ceramic coating.
I do most of my details with Foam pro 12 to foam up rinseless wash. Detail keg I made with water to rinse foam off Bucket with sealed lid Wash every panel individually Decon each panel individually Takes roughly 20-30 minutes I use deionized water from home in my sprayers.
Thank you Yvan for show-us the steps in such a fun fashion! Great way not to over think things . This is how washing a car should be! Thanks again on showing us your products how they should be used😊

Hey Yvan had a question I remember u said it somewhere in one of your video. But wanted to know what’s going to be new you added to V2. Will it still foam and have great cleaning surfactants in it. Thanks 🙏
What happens if the iron remover dries on the paint? Will it cause damage? If my rinseless solution without deionized water dries on the paint will it leave water spots or polymer spots that wipe away easily. Thanks for your time and knowledge!
Hi, I'm using gold standard polish for the first time. I'm having trouble with the wipe off. I'm working in a garage with about 60-70% humidity. I'm using DA at speed 4 with diy yellow waffle pad and a lake country pad washer. I clean the pad after each set. Then I use rinseless dampened low nap microfiber from your kit to wipe off followed by a dry microfiber, but when I look in raking light I still see spots of polish residue and they won't wipe off. Not sure what to do, I don't want to ceramic coat with it looking like that. Thanks for the help!
@@diydetailofficial thank you! I've been playing around while waiting and found better success at speed 3 rather than 4 or 4.5 that I had been using so I think the speed might be it. I'll try speed 2 as well. I think you've said use the slowest speed that the machine doesn't stall is that right? Thank you again!
Unfortunately the speed didn't fix the issue, the only way I can seem to avoid polish residue is to wipe the panel off the second I put the polisher down. I feel like I'm rushing to get out off there which doesn't jive with your videos so something else must be off. Are there special spray nozzles for the polish? I'm using the black ones that come with all your chemicals since I ordered other things along with the polish and am not sure if there was a specific nozzle with the polish. Perhaps I'm getting too much polish with each spray.

@@diydetailofficial good to know I’ll see how this coat works and then apply it all time. I’ll use gold polish to ruff up the surface before applying and should be good to apply right ?
@@diydetailofficial applied it after deciding to do three passes. Looking good. Was a bit hard to tell when it as Time to buff but think we figured it out as we went. It was flashing very fast on the tesla roof and glass for sure.
Hey Yvan. When doing mobile car detailing and you're drying the car, does it matter whether you have Rinseless or just water on the surface when it comes to which one will most likely cause streaking? Because I was planning on rinsing the car with water twice during my process to help fight against the sun drying the water on the surface and I'm just not sure if having only water on the surface will cause streaking or not vs having Rinseless on the surface?
@@diydetailofficial thank you but since the Rinseless is mixed with water does it not still cause water spots/mineral deposits when left on the panel or window for too long in the sun?
Quick question from a beginner - why are you not concerned about the Iron Remover drying? According to my instructions on the bottle that seems to be about the worst thing you can do.
@@diydetailofficial Really appreciate the response. I absolutely love your channel. Sharing the wisdom from your years of experience is really appreciated by someone just starting out in this new career.

Question? Iam getting a keg sprayer for my shop. Was wonder should I have rinseless wash in the keg sprayer and all clean in my ik former pro. But this one seems like the best choice. What do you think?
It’s how we do it
@@diydetailofficial perfect. Ty
How long can I let the 5 year ceramic coat sit before using it?
Unopened, 1 year, opened 3 months
@@diydetailofficial good to know I’ll see how this coat works and then apply it all time. I’ll use gold polish to ruff up the surface before applying and should be good to apply right ?
Yes
@@diydetailofficial applied it after deciding to do three passes. Looking good. Was a bit hard to tell when it as Time to buff but think we figured it out as we went. It was flashing very fast on the tesla roof and glass for sure.
PLEASE GET SYLVIE IN MORE OF THE VIDEOS!
Thank you.
DIY Detail Rinse Less Wash on the surface is safer than water, both for drying and for water spots.
@@diydetailofficial thank you but since the Rinseless is mixed with water does it not still cause water spots/mineral deposits when left on the panel or window for too long in the sun?
No, it makes polymer spots that wipe away with ease.
@@diydetailofficial Noted, appreciate the reply!
Quick question from a beginner - why are you not concerned about the Iron Remover drying? According to my instructions on the bottle that seems to be about the worst thing you can do.
We don’t encourage it, but with DIY Detail Iron Remover it won’t damage anything. Other brands you will want to refer to their instructions.
@@diydetailofficial Really appreciate the response. I absolutely love your channel. Sharing the wisdom from your years of experience is really appreciated by someone just starting out in this new career.
@user-uj9lj1yp2p Thank you.
Great music lol well done on the cleaning
Thanks 👍
Which video is this from? Ty
It’s its own video
@@diydetailofficial ahh right my bad, no idea why I commented this one on here 😂
how to rinseless wash (then breaks out a pressure washer to rinse) LOL.
seriously though. as soon as i am finished Mckee's bottle of rinseless wash i am switching over to DIY. to many good reviews about DIY to not try. Love Ivans video on only using DIY rinseless wash to clean the interior. gets hot here in Texas (100 degrees for the next 7-14 days) so i want o be in and out in under 20 min. i didn't know you could use iron remover with a rinseless wash. will start doing that from now on. great video
Thank you.
In a previous video "do not let the iron remover dry in the sun". Which is it?
It’s best not too, but you can. We also updated the formula a few months ago.
