She wasn't pretentious and was humble about her accomplishments. The FIRST thing I noticed in my dad’s little studio was the radio with antennas. It was playing a Missoula Montana country radio station and this song played, at the time I was dealing with a bullshit teenage heartbreak. Something about this song. Still on my playlist after all this. I look back now 15 years later on the awkwardness of bonding with the man that wasnt really that bad and I laugh about the girl I thought I would always be with. Boy do things change. RIP KT

She was literally everything wonderful about late 80"s early 90's country music! Kt randy travis/ kt Ricky van shelton/ now that's concerts I'll never forget and I wasn't even 18 by that time! Luckily I had the pleasure of meeting her several times after some shows and I will never stop listening to her. Above any all others, she is the 1. ❤ I visited her resting place in Nasville recently and took flowers to her just as I always did.
