I discovered kd back in 1987, this androgynous powerhouse singing country like it had never been done before. I was in love, she was my dream girl and still is after all these years. ❤
What a gorgeous voice, such a rich tone with so many shadings, and beautiful natural vibrato. Her timing is impeccable - she doesn't rush the melody, she savors every word/note drawing out all these shimmering colors. She knows when to hold back and when to let her voice soar - wow, goosebumps. AMAZING, amazing vocalist. This sort of genius is born.

Saw KD Lang live in a concert hall it was around early 1990s my daughter and I first saw her on MTV when it was KD Lang and the recliners. She has a type of voice that sounds better live than her CDs. My daughter Danielle in particular loved KD Langs voice. Her fan base was very diverse at that time. The unrivaled kd lang singing this masterpiece will never be topped, bar none!
