Making me seriously consider buying one I’ve been a little on the fence but wow does it sound good. Even with the cladding it’s not as terrible as what people say because in person it looks great.
The only thing negative I've noticed compared to my 2019 is that my new 2022 is harsher over bumps or broken pavement at low speeds. Once it gets up to speed, it dampens extremely well (even better than my old car); but at low speeds like in the city, it's punishing.
I test drove one and waiting for mine to be built. Im not a fan of the steering wheel, the clutch, and the turn signal. All in all I love it so much more than my 2018
I ordered mine in April before it was built, it finally arrives tomorrow. Im so excited. Its the best wrx ever made. The looks have people split but performance wise its the best hands down.
@3:55 - you guys should collab with a manufacturer for a BBK. I've been trying to drum up more interest for a big brake kit. So far I've heard about Essex, R1 Concepts, R1ZUSA and Alcon are all in R&D. I know you are more about aero and exterior mods. But, it may be a worthwhile option for you to become a distributor.
I picked up the red trim from your shop earlier in the week to put on my wrx gt and cannot wait for the new stuff you mentioned to come. Really enjoy the aero kit w/ wing - get a lot of compliments and I do get asked where I got it.
Having owned an '07 STI (more raw), currently a '17 STI (more refined), and driven a '22 WRX, I'm not sure what direction Subaru wants to go. The new rear end aside, for the love of anything holy it's hard to look at from the factory, most of the steps seem to be backwards. My wife drives a '21 Ascent and the CVT *cringe* feels snappier than the "performance automatic transmission" forced on the highest trim WRX. Your video reinforces some great points but, to be the devil's advocate, our beloved sports sedan may have seen it's sunset if this is what the WRX's future is.
You're right tho, but people have been complaining about the lag and now this it is fixed the raw feel is gone. Which made wrx WRX. The design will always be subjective it ain't bad but donpare to last Gen. It's bad
Its the best WRX ever made. If you test driven one youd know. Only argument is the appearance which i love. I live where there is tons of dirt roads and deep snow for over half the year and i love the protection the cladding gives on the paint. I used to own a 2016 Wrx and the Vb beats it in every way.
When I see a winged car with less than 300 hp, my head screams "Does Not Compute! Does Not Compute!" Basically, it's just a pretender (and that's from a guy who also has a 2022 WRX)....
If I do ever get a 2022 WRX I’ll put a wing on it! 🙋🏿♂️😁 why? Because I want to 😁, to be honest with you I don’t care enough about what people think 🤷🏿♂️😌 so I don’t see anything wrong with a wing being on a 2022 WRX!! 😁
The center screen looks like shit imo, especially on the base model how it's broekn in two. I'll take my signle little screen and three knobs like in my 2018. Also all the new WRX i've seen start at around 36-38k while mine was 28,900 in 2018.
New limited+ trims start there the base is 31590. Also the higher trims come with a single 11 inch screen, the base model is a base model. It doesnt even have assisted braking or eyesight. Its a drivers car not a luxury vehicle. Ive driven 3 trims and i own a 2023 base so idk what ya make about that.
The cabin is way more solid. Suspension is stiffer but still butters over obstacles. Very underrated for sure!

You hit the nail on the head with that one, touring tires help a little

What are your thoughts on the 6k redline?
I don’t like Subarus but I like you

Intro looking sweet
You said "the brakes are not good, obviously". Is there a problem with the stock brakes?
Love the car man. Can’t wait to mod my 2022 limited out
What wheels are those you currently have on your wrx?
Hey what are the rims on white WRX at 2:00
I think I want to purchase them
Finally a nice review 😂
My only complaint has been the brakes not having more bite other than that I love the car
What exhaust do you have
honest reveiw
Thank you!

@@Zhenkai1 Im not sure if "having shit performance" is what should make a wrx a wrx.
Coming from a 15 wrx to test driving the 23 wrx, its miles better in so many ways.
The wrx has no future in the us after 23
Shesh I would love to win the 10k Wheels!!!! :DDDDDD Glad I own a 2022 Subaru WRX!!!!
I have one too and I love it . ❤

Subarus have been making less than 300hp at the wheel with big wings for literally 30 years dude lmao

Did you delete your resonator?
Yes we did!
Pristine Edge

@@aeroflowdynamics they're perfect! do you guys happen to know the wheel specs?
Better mic is needed. Or atleast turned up
I hope they'll upgrade the dash to full digital

@@curtismajeskie3419 not looking for luxury just think the mark ups and screen are shit. Didn't even want a touchscreen on my 2018 premium
