Season 24 of "The Bachelor" turned out to be one of the most dramatic yet, from #Champagnegate to a broken marriage proposal, we were glued to our screens the entire way and are thrilled to know that the hit ABC series hasn't lost a single step after all this time! I disagree. She mentioned nothing that madison didn't make mention of herself .. madison said she feels she and peter are non compatible and broke up with him. And Madison is also back peddling being wishy washy and not taking responsibility to fully forgive peter at all.. shes sticking with peter only to keep punishing him. As a I'm bstb sees her son being dragged thru the mud.
Yes she did handle it horribly and it was on TV for the whole world to see. That's the sad part.

What a wasted Bachelor Season.
I agree they lived different life styles and had different values and upbringings. But that does not mean people don’t run into other people in their lives that can’t affect them in a way where they want to change that. Just because they didn’t edit that word so much into the show doesn’t mean Peter didn’t feel that desire to be more religious and live his life for the Lord. I’m a firm believer that people can make you feel and see things different and want to change for the better because of the goodness and light you feel around them. That called conversion. Maybe Madi did that for him to a small degree and it would’ve continued to grow even stronger when given actual time, that the show doesn’t provide. Maybe he felt her light and goodness from the way she chose to live her life close to the Lord. I mean maybe he wanted to adopt that lifestyle and values in his own life. Justin Beiber did say he saw him at church after the show.... I feel like Peter wanted to understand why Madi was the special person she is. And that quite possibly it was because of her values and choice of the way to live her life for God. His mom interfered with that because she was afraid to lose him. Flat out. Her actions were completely derived from opposition, the devil. Yes I do believe she loves her son, but she does not want him to change for anything better because of fear of losing her very strong hold on him if he changes to be religious. When actually that would’ve actually brought him even closer to his family. Living close to the Lord only makes you love those around you even more... everyone around you. Madi and him clearly had a real love and if he chose to change his life and grow to become closer to the Lord because of her and was influenced by their relationship to become more like her in this way, most any mother would’ve been happy for that growth and desire. Barb is just dark...
This reminds me of how my aunt acts when she doesn’t like someone. I hate it. She talks bad about people. 🤮 Barb has no education. Let him grow up and make his own decision.
To come all this way only to break up makes me sad!
Peter needs to cut the apron strings. His Mom shouldn't even get the idea that she should or can interfere in her Sons love life. When she was crying "bring her home to us" - WTF??? That was creepy and freaky. He's not getting a wife for his Mom and Dad. LOL His relationship probably won't work with Madison, but so what? That's for him to learn and figure out - OR to decide to do whatever it takes. Nothing is impossible.

I was trying to be optimistic because I grew up with my parents being completely opposite, my dad is a drinker (and smoker) and my mom is not and much more religious like Madison in a sense, but they chose their love for each other and they’ve been married for 30 years in January. But apparently Peter can’t hold to his own and is still being breast fed by his mommy. Wasted everyone’s damn time. I hope he learns his lesson and grows the f up because no one will want to marry in that family if he can’t be independent. Both Hannah Ann and Madison deserve a REAL man.

Idk why people are focusing on that. It's lifestyles they were talking about. Read between the lines. Peter likes to party with women throughout the night, travels for a living, and isn't a spiritual leader. Madison wants someone who's present in the home, is a spiritual leader, etc

Sometimes, you have to let sleeping dogs lie........Poor Madison.......That treatment was brutal, and wasn't necessary. What about private conversations? You know, the Fantasy Suite without sex.
The finale was dramatic as usual recently. Barb just seems crazy and overpowering as hell, very weird. Peter seems like he’s still so immature to me and really needs to move out if he really lives at home.
Chris (and production), don't play innocent. No logical being would fly down from LA to Alabama with crews to link up Madi to Pete. If Bachelor ends with a broken engagement, so be it. The finale would be short but pls, don't ADD further drama that looked almost questionable. Barb's behaviour could just be another ARRANGED fake setup.

Peters in love with being in love.... but he hasn’t clearly defined what TRUE love is yet. I also think it’s sad that any of us ever have to filter our words. Why can’t we just say and be who we are? And clearly that includes barb. Then people can love us for who we are and everyone else can remove themselves from our lives if they don’t like us. I appreciated the fact that she was her real self. It helped us all understand on a deeper level why peter is the way he is. Everybody needs to stop being appropriate on the outside with the right words and actions and just work on BEING the appropriate version of themselves at a heart level.
The Bachelor owes Barb a muffin basket. I loved it! It was so refreshing, the honesty. Rather than years of watching the misery, politely (like my mother did with my sister's marriage), she cut out the tumor like a surgeon. Barb deserves her own "Relationship Reality" show rather than a reality relationship show.

Nope that relationship was never going to work with or without barb, I said this the whole season long, these two are just to different, and most likely they would end up hatingneach other if they had a relationship cause one of them would havent completely change, and one partner changing while the other doesn't is not how a relationship should be. So most likely one would begin to dislike the other. That has nothing to do with his mother , his mother was right they would have never worked together. Fact.
Sandyyyangg I disagree. While I may not agree with Barbs methodology, she wasn’t wrong. But the brother didn’t go to the taping but had a lot to say on social media about Madison. He said because of non disclosure , he couldn’t say what she was really like. But that she had a very good edit. A few of the girls when interviewed about her were pretty vague as well, but smirked. I don’t think she’s this Snow White sweetheart that you all thought she was. I didn’t get a good read on her in the last few episodes , and then on the live show her mannerisms were telling. I don’t think Barb should have threw her under the bus maybe , but there must be a reason the whole family dislike her.

The finale left a sour taste in my mouth. I’m sorry I can’t stand to watch Barbara and her facial expressions and negative demeanor. It ended with a damper finale causing me to feel sad for Madison. She’s an exceptional strong woman who knows her moral compass. She deserves a mature relationship with a man who loves her fiercely and wonderfully Godly. God bless Madie!

The more I read up on it all and due to the choppy filming for the proposal part and Madison part, I now think the proposal was a farce as was putting him and Maddie together at the end. You can even see it in their body language. The ending of it all is nothing but a contrived story put on by production. Peter put out a video showing him hanging with his Mom, no animosity whatsoever. Production saw it wasn’t going to remotely end well and pressured that ending. Peter, Madison and possibly Hannah all did it to gain Instagram followers so they can all cash in. Guaranteed the truth behind it all will leak somehow. The 28 year old man child is STILL living at home.
Peter is nice, soft, caring and loving PSYCHO. The worse type of all......Every girl feels special, and think they are the only one, then, he breaks their hearts by not listening to their desires.

Chris doing all the post finale interviews. Would’ve loved to hear from Peter & Madison even if they didn’t work out. They’re definitely not the first couple of this franchise that failed. Peter is not the only Bachelor who was conflicted, confused & indecisive. Barbara had legit reasons to be totally not on board with Madison, every mother wants to protect her child, it’s the way she handled it. She clearly didn’t like Madison but again she didn’t havre to be that harsh & insulting. I got to say if Madison had opened the whole discussion with “ am sorry” that would not have blown up the way it did..It May not have been totally her fault they waited for 3 hours, but still....apologizing would’ve eased things up

Athena I’ve lived with two for 6 years. I know exactly what they look like. I counsel people for narcissistic abuse. All I need is a minute. I’ve studied them for the last 5 years. I have a blog with 90,000 followers. They all have the same behavior. I knew his mom was a narc before I saw her by his actions. In love with 3 women! Typical narc behavior, manipulative, deceptive, parasitic, lack of empathy, still living at home under mommy’s control. They check all the boxes. Pick up a DSMV instead of correcting spell check unless your afraid you may find out something about yourself.
Lots of men are mama's boys!! But really Barb was right. Peter and Madison decided not to pursue a relationship. Parents often do know their sons and daughters, however grown children need to make their own decisions and learn from their mistakes. Often times telling them what to do backfires and pushes them in that direction.

Design Rhythm yeeeah, rumor is Peter didn’t even want to chase after Madi. He broke up with Hannah Ann because he was conflicted on his feelings, but wasn’t going to look for Madison. Chris and Madi’s conversation about still being in love with Peter was scripted and she was brought back to create more drama. In fact, Peter was hooking up with Kelly after the Hannah Ann break up. I think they brought Kelly on the after show to see if Peter would say something about hooking up with her and create even more drama.
