- We already know how Peter Weber's mom Barb feels about Madison Prewett, but now Pilot Pete's little brother is also sharing his thoughts. In response to a fan who said reality TV portrays "everyone and everything how they want for views and drama," Jack fired back claiming, "Dude facts. Half these people don't even have the slightest clue as to how far Madi is from what the TV shows." Jack's comments came just hours before Peter and Madison announced they "mutually decided" not to pursue their relationship any further.
None of the girls had a problem with Madi, and they got to see her behind the scenes as well. And longer then for a day.

When Peter went on Hannah B’s “After the Final Rose” show, and she revealed she and Peter had sex 4 times in the windmill, Peter’s parents were thrilled. I remember Peter’s mother sitting in the audience throwing kisses to Hannah B, and yet Hannah B was the woman who broke her son’s heart. Barb may have had her doubts about Madi not being committed to her son (who also still happened to be in love with two women, who wouldn’t have doubts about him), but Barb LOVED the woman who actually did break his heart. Bizarre behaviour on Barb’s part.
stymiedagain Barb simply couldn’t stand Madi talking back to her - that it was as much her journey to find love and not just Peter’s! Madi said that again on finale and Barb just couldn’t stand that. As much as I think Madi was right about that and good that she spoke her mind, she too should have been a little more apologetic about the 3 hour wait which was not just her fault but both her and Peter’s since they took long time to talk. She shouldn’t have that much of smirk on her face too really.

Dude is crazy forgetting that the family was not the only group of people who saw Maddison behind the scenes. The entire cast spent more time with Maddison than the family did and not a single one of them had anything bad to say. He is talking as though he grew up with Maddison. @jazeyedgirl The first time was more of a fun-loving thing and it doesn’t seem they even remember it honestly - plus they didn’t have any real conversations with her yet. And at the home town, Peter and Madi had a really tough conversation right before so she wasn’t gonna be herself anyway because of the issues they had had. She isn’t gonna be over it that quickly.
My main point is, meeting someone twice is different from living with her like her cast mates did.

Mary Sargent Barb is a narcissist who brainwashed the entire family to hate Madison, and I think her son Jack is the Apple that doesn’t fall far from the tree. She even told her husband in Spanish (as if there were no Spanish-speaking viewers) to help her out and say something bad about the relationship between Peter and Madison. Even if Peter stayed with Hannah Ann, that would have been very short-lived, especially in the creepy, unhealthy, Weber family dynamics. Not only has Madison been spared from that weird, and creepy family - so was Hannah Ann. It would only be a matter of time that the grotesque, Bully-mommy, would have attacked Hannah Ann, for not remaining on her puppet-strings. Until Peter is able to cut the umbilical cord, and truly become a real man, there is no way any women, (especially after watching evil, Bully-mommy on film), could possibly get involved with that severely disturbing family. It sounds like Jack Weber is even more messed up by Bully-mommy, than his older brother Peter is. Icky, yucky, stuff to be sure!

Production and Chris Harrison ruined this season. They were so excited about no spoilers, but we witnessed a lot of manipulation from them that will be death of the show. It happened during Colton's season, too...it was blatant toward the end of the season and it made the show suck. Once you realize how much is being manipulated it changes the feel of the show and it, well, sucks!

1. Madi was 3 hrs late for a meeting with the family and did not apologize. And even on the last show she did not apologize. Even if it was not her fault (which is apparently was not) she should have apologized and humbled herself a little. 2. Furthermore, it was rediculeous that she gave pete the ultimatum . Technically she did not say you have to do... but it is clear what she meant and then she left. She knew what this show was about and should not have been on it knowling her own values. Or at least she should have told Pete before it got so far. And then she should have realized that she could not legitimately tell pete to not sleep with other women. I am glad Pete's family spoke their mind. Her family has said noting bad about Pete, and guess what - there is nothing to say about him. He is a good guy and acted in the best way he could under the circumstances. It is getting very boring to have religious values shouted out everywhere all the time. Religion is based on belief - millions of people believe differently and hence a person should not impose those beliefs on another. Maddi was wrong to even be on the program given her beliefs. I admire her for her beliefs but she was remiss in this situation. And, If she is so religious whey was she always drinking on the program? Why did she dress in provocative ways showing off her body? Why was she wrapping her legs around Pete? Why did she crawl all over him. Why was she kissing him in a provocative way?

I don't think Madison is bad & I respect her values, but it really doesn't make sense as to why she went on this type of show, PLUS she didn't tell Peter she was saving herself until AFTER The fantasy suites, it might've changed his perspective one way or another in regards to her on how to proceed. She held back facts about herself & so after her 'ultimatum' I believe it challenged him & I think that enticed him more than anything. I also like Peter & don't think he is a bad guy at all. I think he is a bit of a people pleaser & wants to make everyone happy to a point where he's indecisive & does & says things that he ends up changing his mind about & is basically all over the place feelings-wise. As far as his brother, those were legit questions & he wanted Pete to really think about the reality of what a relationship with Madi would've really been like(& Jack, knowing his brother, probabaly worried that he'd been the one to give up his lifestyle & change for her)so Jack was just keeping it real. Now, as far as Barb, she's not the monster people are trying to make her out to be. Sure, she could've toned it down a bit, but she was not wrong! She saw the same things Jack did & I think there's way more that we didn't see that the family did. And as a mother, u never stop being protective or defensive over your child, no matter their age! U can see she's passionate & passionate people can be reactors at times & speak out without thinking first. Barb would be a blast to hang out with! And lastly, in response to people blasting Pete about living at home....he's a freakin pilot! They are traveling so much that it makes no sense to have a place they hardly are at & most younger pilots probably either have a roommate or still live at home & more than likely get their own place when they find a partner & settle down! This is long I know but had to speak my opinion lol & agree with yours also, jessie!

All the girls have been interviewed on multiple podcasts etc and they’ve all said that she is exactly the same sweet person and that they were shocked by Barb’s speech because Barb had ALREADY met Madi on week 1 at her vow renewal at their home. Really ask yourself who you’re going to believe the girls who lived with her for 2 months or the woman who can’t seem to remember “really liking” Madison and can’t let her son grow the F up? Yeah, if you think about it...did Peter really want to be with Madison? He left Hanna Ann and never tried to contact her...they said they had been talking, but she didn't seem to know he got engaged or that he broke off the engagement. Did anyone pay attention to the fact that Madi's parents weren't present during the last episode(s)? Madi's is a family of extreme faith; Peter never professed that he could/would be as charismatic a Christian as they. I have the feeling the Prewitts were far from thrilled - but the focus was on the drama dished out by the Webers. Peter's brother was right: the differences were too great to overcome. Poor Hanna Ann didn't deserve sloppy seconds. The producers could have pulled a Brad Womack and ended the episode with no one getting engaged. It was a train wreck no matter how you look at it.
It's funny that Madison already secured a PR agent before the season was over..and the model Hannah Ann still does not have an agent. I don't think they dislike Madison b/c she's religious and a virgin. Between Hannah Anne and Madison, they felt Hannah Anne would be better for Peter. Mrs. Weber has gotten criticized a lot. Keep it private and say what she wants to say, I think she will be much more respected and loved by all, including her own son. She needs to exercise more self control. Peter's reaction to Madison in the last shots of this video showed he was not on the same page with Madi, you can see it in the body language. She says she's in love and Peter's reaction is quite muted, close lipped, then just a smile.
And yes I have a feeling Madison is different from how she was portrayed on the show. We really didn't see a lot of her in the season. Would be interested in hearing more of the brother's and family's impressions.

Chris Harrison already refuted every single bad thing Barb had to say about Madison. That mama is simply terrified of losing her son and will do anything to keep him within her grasp. She's also not a fan of Madison's backbone. In some cultures, talking back the way Madison did is considered disrespectful. Personally, I think it was necessary for Madison to stand up for herself but I can see why Barb might be on the fence about all of that. She's not used to be spoken to like that.
