I think that this season had one of the saddest and unsatisfying endings ever. Like this is peters life, madisons life, hannah anns life and they all (barbara) just aired their bad laundry on national television for our enjoyment but once the cameras stop rolling and the season is over, they all go home and continue to go through that. I dont know what peters intentions were by going on the show and if he did it for the wrong reasons but you cant help but feel bad for him. My heart goes out to all three of them, none of them deserved this ending. And i feel like since the night did go the way that it did, it left a lot of questions and ambiguity as to what happens next and where to go from this. I wish them nothing but the best (except barb, she was the worst lol!)
I also agree. Hannah Ann seems like she’s doing great though. But my heart breaks for Madison as it seemed like towards the end there everyone all of a sudden jumped on the hannah Ann train and left madi in the dust. She is such a beautiful soul and really deserves happiness and Barbara rained hellfire down on her for no good reason despite the fact that she just did not like her. Makes me sad.

I've tagged Peter on my IG page about narcissistic mothers. I know he won't see. It, but I hope the world forces him to look at his life. He needs to grow up and leave mommy's side.
I'm starting to understand why Peter is so indecisive & is drawn to drama. He was raised by a woman who has been controlling his decisions with her over the top emotions, his whole life. Although she might mean well because she loves her sons, that's so unhealthy. It is manipulative & selfish. Peter is a polite young man with a good heart & I'm sure he owes those good characteristics to his family. But he also has serious issues he needs to deal with & he owes that to his family as well -particularly his mother. Madi is better off not getting involved with that.
Totally get that momma loves her baby and is trying to protect him, BUT she’s holding him back from making his own decisions and letting him learn. Family needs to bite their lips, step back, and support him no matter who or what he chooses. I hope Peter takes this experience and grows from it. Don’t live your life by what others say you should do.

I’ve not heard Chris Harrison say anything about HIS part in all of this. AM I the only one who thinks going to Madison was out of line. If he had let PETER live his life , maybe Peter would have pursued Madison, maybe not, but this whole thing felt like the show pulling a stunt for dramatic effect. The SHOW put Barb in the box which was absolutely designed to incite drama. That was in bad taste. Even though its “just a show” these are real people and Chris should have let things evolve as they evolve if it happens AFTER the show wraps.

Here's a thought. Peter is used to a strong-willed mother, so ... if Madi becomes the new controlling woman in Peter's life then Peter might stick around longer than we expect. Personally, I think Madi wants someone to go to church with her regularly and who will go on missions with her. Let's see if she can get Peter to try that out. How long will he do that just so that he can sleep with her??

Exactly. I saw during hometowns that Peter just may not be the man for her. I’m sure they have all the love in the world for each other but realistically he’s not who she’s looking for and there’s nothing wrong with that. Also peter likes to chase and hang on a little too long like what he did with Hannah B. Madison had already left him multiple times.
Chrystal Spencer thats it. He IS a people pleaser and immensely so. As much as Barb say she loves her son, she’s also conditioned him to be who he is now-one who lacks backbone. Peter is incapable of making any decision because it has always been made for him. He goes along with what his family tells him to do because he’s probably been told of the heartbreak that would happen if he doesn’t do what they say. In theory, he really is in a prison and has never had the freedom to be himself and make mistakes and learn and grow from those mistakes. I’ve honestly thought he had a great upbringing until I saw what unfolded from the 2 day finale. And man oh man, I wouldn’t wish to be any of them.

Even his parents were shocked and embarrassed!!! It was very clear here! Barb didn't use any nasty words in what she said? She was straight up..a straight shooter, but in the nicest way she could have done it!! I'm with Barb..and her son is the worst, most worst Bachelor in the history. Madison had the best opportunity to apologize to the parents. She will be part of this family "if" they continue, and that's Madison's reality!! She/Madison was rude as hell....period!

I think the reason that Barb was clapping whenever Hannah Ann was confronting Peter for the way she was treated was because even though it is her son and she wants the best for him she also doesn’t believe that any women should be treated the way that Hannah Ann was treated by Peter. I think Barb saw a side to her son that she hadn’t before. I’m sorry but Peter wasn’t this amazing guy, I think we all could see his true colors come out in this finale. I think he did both of these woman dirty and they all need to just move on from him. Peter seems like the guy who will never truly know what he wants in life.

I could see Peter was most in love with Madison. He was so torn with his mom Barb crying and influencing him to pick Hannah Ann. He loves his family, but they put so much pressure on him to pick Hannah Ann that it really confused him. While he did what they wanted, he wasn't happy because it wasn't what he wanted. I believe Barb unfairly discriminated against Madison because of her religious beliefs. She seemed to judge and condemn her immediately. I could see that Madison was so pressured, she too was confused and decided to leave knowing his mom didn't really approve. For me it was really obvious. She never seemed to give Madison a chance. I also felt Barb was so mean to Madison during the show. It was harsh. I think Peter truly loves Madison and Madison truly loves Peter. I hope they make it and wish them all the best. As for Barb, I hope she lightens up and thinks of her son's feelings more because both Peter and Hannah Ann could have been spared the additional hurt of an engagement that shouldn't have happened had Barb not interfered. You never know if Madison will be the mother of her future grandchildren. She might drive Peter away. I agree with Chris, Madison deserved better. I wish them all the best.

You are going to love your son but you should not stand with him when his actions are not appropriate, and that's what happened here. Peter didnt treat hannah ann like she deserves, and hannah ann stood up for herself and her feelings in the process. Barb applauded her for it because indeed everything hannah ann said was true. Even peter admitted it. At the end of the day barb is getting hate and heat because she just voiced what everyone else was thinking. That's her son and family do have those types of conversations when they see that two ppl are that fundamentally different. It's just not often happening for the whole country to see and hear. But like she said on national television, he is going to have to fail to succeed.
Chris is so honest and open and I truly respect that. It’s not some beat around the bush answers. He’s straight forward and perfect for this job.
