I have the book of Mary, it has Jesus' teaching leaning really similar to Buddhas'.

I believe the Dan Brown version. In Jesus' day it was highly unusual for a man to be 30 and not married. You risked all kinds of terrible things not being married.
So, I accept that Jesus was married and Mary Magdalene was his wife. And I could even go along that he was like Porthos and depended on a woman for money.
What of their daughter Sara? Is there a modern day lineage that leads to Jesus? Wouldn't that be cool?

Jesus was speaking of Mary Magdalene when He said “those who have sinned much, love much because they have been forgiven much.”

    • @jeffengstrom8657
      @jeffengstrom8657 3 ปีที่แล้ว +19

Actually He was speaking of Mary of Bethany. She is truly the female superstar of the New Testament. Her story of washing Jesus' feet with her hair is in all four gospels. Christ memorialized her for her show of faith and devotion like no other.

@EarthAngel He reads the idiocy of man. They want not for people to know anything near fact. Jesus is Adam. Mary is Lilith. The missing years of iam is in the works of ISSA. I can fill in much about who this man of reincarnation is. The truth is not as pretty as the lies within the texts of my descendants. The Pope is the farthest from God and his words are blasphemous lies. This will soon end.

    • @Rob-cm9jr
      @Rob-cm9jr 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@EarthAngel I know all my lives are very similar. I have had issues with having 2 women in this life. It may have something to do with preservation of my bloodline to be able to return due to those whom try to stop my rebirths. My bloodline runs through Germany and Scotland and Europe and through Solomon, Jesus, Noah, Adam and others. ISSA is the missing years of Christ. Most of the written texts of man are distorted. I blame the Catholic church for much of humanity's misinformation and corruption.

Very beautiful summary, I love Mary Magdalene she is my favorite saint and together with her sister Martha and brother Lazarus, they are the best friends of Jesus, I think this is incredibly important. Best friends are there for each other, no matter what is happening in life and we can see this with all of them, its touchingly beautiful. I go on pilgrimage to her basilica and cave in southern France every year since 2011 and together with my best friend we takes groups on spiritual journeys there ........ it is touching to visit the holy places connected to her, to feel her spirit and guidance and with this to strengthen the Devine feminine path for all of us. It is true that the Catholic Church developed way too many extra biblical teachings, and you, like many other Catholics , do not buy into all the "extras"
Jesus, as God incarnate, who declared He was indeed Jehovah God that Moses talked to on Mt Sinai, the "I AM" , declared the same in the Gospel of John, chapter 8 verse 24. and again in verse 58. You stick with what Jesus says, and you will be fine.

    • @terrybassett1

I first learned about the hypocrisy of the Catholic Church when I was 9. In my Catholic Junior School we all had to watch the funeral of Pope John XX111 was broadcast on TV live across Europe, a really major technical challenge in 1963. The commentator was talking about how Catholics in countries such as Brazil, a struggling to emerge 3rd world nation at the time, would give virtually everything they had to the Church. This generally left them destitute, he then went on to explain that only the Papal Ring would be passed on to the next Pope. The regalia that wasn't buried with him, would be ceremonially burned. This regalia was valued at that time at £3,000,000! In today's terms, that's close to £300,000,000! In my early 20s, I raised this with a Catholic Bishop, and for having the temerity to challenge the ethics of this, I was Excommunicated! In addition to that, my parents Catholic Church Wedding records, my elder sister's and younger brother's baptism records, in addition to my own, were all removed! How totally pathetic, petty and spiteful is that?

Sometimes even a non-Catholic refers to Peter as being the first Pope. This "tradition" is of man, and not from God. Knowing this, it's easy to see why Jesus spoke about how men disregard the commandments of God in favor or their own traditions. With God, there is no such thing as a Pope.

@Eddie Moyna First of all, learn the difference between the two rocks. Jesus used 'Petrus' when referring to Peter and his confession, and 'Petra' when referring to the Church. The first is likened unto a pebble or small stone, while the other the size of something really big. In classical Greek, the distinction between the two is well known. And second of all, just think about the word "Pope". Did it come from God, or from man? It refers to 'father'. The Bible says to call no man father except your heavenly Father. It speaks of a religious connotation. The word is an abomination.

But there is no doubt that Jesus had a very sympathetic attitude and fondness towards her for various reasons. Jesus was able to see through her and understand her true sincerity and loyalness. Thats why we can see how Mary Magdalene was very concerned and visited the tomb first where Jesus was buried after crucifixation . She does hold a very high position in the Bible for obvious reasons.

In The Last Supper painting, The Apostle Paul never actually met Jesus, so that may well be Mary Magdalene at His right. Paul had converted upon Christ's Resurrection.
Also, Mary Magdalene may well be a significant message for all women in the future about their relationship with God and Christ, even more so than Christ's mother, who had already found favour with God plus through her Ancestry and so forth from David.
Mary Magdalene was like The Gentiles, women could be saved as well and serve.

The boy was called Maximillimus) who later became the first bishop of Marcelles, southern France. Magdalene taught the true teaching of Jesus that Jesus is the life force of all the living who is knowable, accessible to all. Moreover she brought over the Shroud of Turin, which isn’t far from Marcelles.

The major point being missed in all this treatment is that Mary Magdalene is not her real name. Mary is her first name but she had no last name as it was not common at that time to have a surname. The last name given to her was "The Magdalene." The Hebrew word for tower is Magdal. Mary was a convert to Christianity as she was up until the time of the Christ's appearance a priestess of sorts for the tower...the tower of Baal. She was a Baal worshipper! Christ forgave her of her sins to the extent that he actually married her to show his followers the meaning of TRUE forgiveness. Everyone...meaning ALL man and woman kind had the chance to be saved from their craven ways. When The Christ died and was resurrected, the closest disciples of of Christ were sent afloat in a boat without oars or sails: the Hebraic equivalent to "wash their hands of this man's blood" because they were not directly responsible for any of these followers' deaths if they should never reach shore. But suffice it to say, these humble followers were men of the sea and they fashioned oars and sails out of what they had on board and made it to the Cote D 'azure in France. From thence came the Magdalenian Society and the Divine Right of Kings from Arthur on down. This Divine Right started with the pregnancy of Mary whose husband was the Christ. When the child was born , he was to be the first king of the land under that Right. But...as in most cases however, without Divine guidance this movement deteriorated into a hellish feudal system - an entropism we all know as the Dark Ages which lasted well over a thousand years.

Bruh, Davinci code is just a fictional work, not an actual history. There is a reason it was criticised so harshly by even secular historians, it's just bad history. These are all just pure statements without substance or any evidence, pure nonsense spread by someone who has no background in this topic. Jesus never married anyone. Those 'gospels' claiming that he did marry Mary Magdalene are rejected unanimously by the Church father and the Church itself and is also recognised by even SECULAR historians to be too late to be even considered a second hand account of the story since it came after the 2nd century. It's so bad that even the writings of some Early Church Fathers are older than these gnostic 'gospels'.

Easter eggs came from the pagans...they worshiped the goddess Eostre, the goddess of spring and fertility...and fertility was represented by rabbits (of course), and eggs, which were colored with designs to appease the goddess...

    • @Nikola-xn3bb
      @Nikola-xn3bb ปีที่แล้ว

      No, it did not.
Eggs were and are considered to be a symbol of fertility and life by cultures all around the world and for obvious reasons. Infact, the whole reason the pagans considered it to be a symbol of fertility was because of this obvious fact, most animals around us came from eggs and in this modern world, this symbolism makes even more sense since we now understand that even animals like ourselves who were not considered to be born from eggs actually does come from eggs.
Also, if you are somehow trying to play any word games with Easter and some random pagan goddesses' name, just keep in mind that Easter is called Easter only in English. In most European languages, it's called Pascha.
In Eastern churches, it's called by different names. For example, in my church, the Syro Malabar Church, it's called the 'Uyarpputhirunaal'(Malayalam) or Qyamta(Suriyani).
At the end of the day, I just don't understand why people call Easter pagan. Even Christmas is slightly understandable but Easter? Seriously? There is not even a controversy over that, it's just logic. It's celebrated 4 days after the start of Passover. The reason the Catholic and Orthodox dates for Easter is different is because Orthodox church follows a version of Julian calender while the Catholic Church follows Gregorian calendar.

In the highest antiquity, (the people) did not know that there were (their rulers). In the next age they loved them and praised them. In the next they feared them; in the next they despised them. Thus it was that when faith (in the Tao) was deficient (in the rulers) a want of faith in them ensued (in the people).
How irresolute did those (earliest rulers) appear, showing (by their reticence) the importance which they set upon their words! Their work was done and their undertakings were successful, while the people all said, 'We are as we are, of ourselves!'

If we could renounce our sageness and discard our wisdom, it would be better for the people a hundredfold. If we could renounce our benevolence and discard our righteousness, the people would again become filial and kindly. If we could renounce our artful contrivances and discard our (scheming for) gain, there would be no thieves nor robbers.
Those three methods (of government) Thought olden ways in elegance did fail And made these names their want of worth to veil; But simple views, and courses plain and true Would selfish ends and many lusts eschew.

Sincere words are not fine; fine words are not sincere. Those who are skilled (in the Tao) do not dispute (about it); the disputatious are not skilled in it. Those who know (the Tao) are not extensively learned; the extensively learned do not know it.

The sage does not accumulate (for himself). The more that he expends for others, the more does he possess of his own; the more that he gives to others, the more does he have himself.

Tao has of all things the most honoured place. No treasures give good men so rich a grace; Bad men it guards, and doth their ill efface. (Its) admirable words can purchase honour; (its) admirable deeds can raise their performer above others. Even men who are not good are not abandoned by it.
Therefore when the sovereign occupies his place as the Son of Heaven, and he has appointed his three ducal ministers, though (a prince) were to send in a round symbol-of-rank large enough to fill both the hands, and that as the precursor of the team of horses (in the court-yard), such an offering would not be equal to (a lesson of) this Tao, which one might present on his knees.
Why was it that the ancients prized this Tao so much? Was it not because it could be got by seeking for it, and the guilty could escape (from the stain of their guilt) by it? This is the reason why all under heaven consider it the most valuable thing.

If I were suddenly to become known, and (put into a position to) conduct (a government) according to the Great Tao, what I should be most afraid of would be a boastful display.
The great Tao (or way) is very level and easy; but people love the by-ways.
Their court(-yards and buildings) shall be well kept, but their fields shall be ill-cultivated, and their granaries very empty. They shall wear elegant and ornamented robes, carry a sharp sword at their girdle, pamper themselves in eating and drinking, and have a superabundance of property and wealth;--such (princes) may be called robbers and boasters. This is contrary to the Tao surely!

Many Christian media also portray Mary as the only woman who follows Jesus, but according to Mark and Luke, Mary was only part of a large group of women who followed Jesus and the disciples all around Galilee and all the way to Judea and were patronesses who supported them financially. Probably Mary Magdalene was not even the first woman as a disciple, but this title would belong to Mary of Bethany based on what the Gospel of Luke says, but Mary Magdalene probably became the leader of the women group because she is mentioned first among women in the same way as Peter among men.

Dan Brown didn't make up the theory that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married. He got it from the book Holy Blood, Holy Grail by Henry Lincoln, Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh. Where they got it is anyone's guess. The inconsistencies in the 4 Gospels are because the four authors (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) were writing to different audiences, and they were four separate points of view.

Fifty years ago my father told me about Jesus being married to Mary Magdalene and having children with her, quite a few, and the eldest was called Jesus. There is a conspiracy that Barabas was a son of Jesus and that Jesus planned to have himself crucified to release Barabas. He was drugged by the wine given to him on the cross and cut down before he was really dead, hence he was attended to in the tomb and was seen alive with stigmata by Mary 3 days later.

your either kidding or you have totally not read the scriptures where the Roman soldier took a spear and shoved it under Jesus last rib, all the way to His heart, wherein the scripture says: "out came blood and water." The body of Jesus was clearly dead, guaranteed. Oh wait, did He not walk out of the tomb 3 days later ? Yep. How did He do that ? and then walk around for 40 days teaching the disciples.? The only possible answer you or anyoe can come up with is, The Word (John ch 1) who created all things, also had the capacity to bring life back to the body of Jesus. The disciples were a bit taken back, and Jesus said to them that a ghost does not have flesh and bone as you see me have. Jesus who declared He was indeed Jehovah God, in the flesh, proved His power to raise this body of Jesus from the grave. Jesus said : "I am the resurrection and the Life, no man comes to the Father but by me." Therefore, repent of your unbelief, and receive Christ Jesus as LORD

Mary of Magdala was not a Protitute and yes they did. She supported Jesus ministry. She was an Apostle.

I have always felt that Mary Magdalene was a powerful woman who was powerful enough to be very similar to someone like Mae West who was a powerhouse in Hollywood and wrote her own ticket. I've never thought that Mary Magdalene had any use for some fellow named Jesus because I've never seen anything that was the value there whatsoever other than a lot of press agency and babble. I think she was a woman who was inculcated into something with this guy or she had no choice about it at some point and has been incorporated into it and it messed into it for a very long time. I think she had her own ideas about self-governance of spirit and soul and what I have read about her I would say that 90% of what has been said and babbled about has been a lie. I think she independent and unique and could stand on her own without anyone such as something called Jesus. I have no use for religion I never have had. Has wreaked havoc on my life and stolen everything from it perhaps with the truth is about Mary Magdalene is everything was stolen from her too. Somehow she just sort of disappeared as well. I think we will find out more about her perhaps this year when things are aligned with the truth that is long long and waited for.

Why Mary is not including to be one of the disciples/apostles from the bible?
Luk 6:13 And when day came, he called his disciples and chose from them twelve, whom he named apostles:
      Luke 6:14-16
Mat 19:28 Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, in the new world, when the Son of Man will sit on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

@@louism8911anyone who's got to sit on the throne to shore up their identity it's not something I want anything to do with. I don't think Mary Magdalene was a disciple and wanted to be a disciple or anything else and I think this year we're going to find out a whole lot more about her as a powerhouse who had no use whatsoever for any of it.

@@carollido8742 Not just a disciple but mentioned that she was an apostle because Jesus chose 12 apostles...not Mary included according to the bible...That automatically disqualifies the book of Mary, the book of Thomas, and any books from gnostic because of contradictions in the bible...

@@carollido8742From book of Thomas, "Saying 37: Seeing Jesus" It said that you strip naked without being ashamed to see him. Like Adamite from early Christians...C'mon...The bible said Jesus is the last Adam. Also according to Genealogy it said that Son of God is first then Adam after...Luke 3:38 (this is the whole of Jesus' genealogy)...Did the bible said that Jesus is naked anywhere? Obviously not...but we have the mind of Christ...1 Corinthians 2:16 and of course...Holy Spirit that dwells in us everyday will be given to those who seek the Kingdom of God and righteousness.
1Co 15:45 Thus it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1Co 15:47 The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven.
1Co 15:49 Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven.
Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Mat 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Mat 28:20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

2 (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)
