Sir u said rabi crops are predominantly snown in North and western india such as Punjab, haryana etc and receives rainfall from North East monsoon but sir North East monsoon doesn't give rainfall in North or western india
North East monsoon give rainfall in northern part of India as well... Generally it is predominant in eastern part but it also contribute to rainfall in northern part as well .

Ragi is a staple food in old mysore region of karnataka especially the rural areas. There’s hardly a household which doesn’t consume ragi often, if not every day. Ragi was made famous when Deve Gowda became the prime minister for ten months. Even the five star hotels in Delhi served Ragi mudde, or ball of ragi about the size of mango.
