Yeah I understand the hate from the Uncharted lovers. I watched the movie before playing any of the games and I loved it. After playing the first and second Uncharted (hopefully about to play the third and fourth) I still love it. It gets hate for being called "Uncharted" if it was called anything else people would've loved it. But hopefully Sony will learn their lesson and make the sequel better.

The Uncharted movie was so good! Captured the spirit of the games perfectly, Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg nailed their roles as Nate and Sully.

@@outlaw._.lazines I watched the movie before playing the games and I loved it. I'm about to finish Uncharted 4 after playing the other 3, still love the movie. I will only start hating it if they don't make a sequel and learn from their mistakes, actually make a proper movie that corresponds with the games it took inspiration from.

Hopefully Sony releases more Uncharted Movie deleted scenes, since most of them so far have been really good, e.g The Unreleased Deleted Nate + Chloe kiss scene from CHP 18 of the Movie Novelization + seen by a test audience. Please request Sony to release them or an extended cut

As an uncharted fan I actually didn’t mind the cast that much it was the plot that I couldn’t really vibe with sully and Nate being against each other was the obvious one and Sam abandoning Nate I didn’t like too much either, too many differences for meme to personally

In the flashback i think it said 12 or 15 years ago and that kid looked like he was atleast 12yrs old & present day TH looks like 20.......i love TH but he was the wrong cast for this movie
He's 25 in the present and so is Tom when he filmed this. So the kid is 10 years old 15 years back.

@@normalhuman8184 Except he isn't playing a 31 year old Drake. He's playing a 25 year old Drake. It's literally an origin story for the character while Nate in Drake's Fortune was an established treasure hunter. The movie and games are also separate continuity.
The casting for this movie was a miss. Nathan Fillion looked more authentic to the role.

I personally don't care who's cast as Nathan Drake, as long as they give a good performance, acting, dialogue and nothing else. Tom Holland playing Nathan doesn't bother me at all, why does casting an actor who has to look like, for example, Nathan Drake matter?
@estebangutierrez160 Well his performance on its own was admittedly good, but as Nathan Drake, it just didn't feel like Nathan, younger or older, in the games, the character is famous for his personality and characterisation, as well as other characters like Sully and Elena, so it's important to get that feel of the character right which they didn't really do, arguably he felt like Nathan when he was a bartender stealing people's small items, but that's about it
But please tell me you honestly can't say MARK WHALBERG playing SULLY wasn't a problem
@@giovanniluke3882 Mark playing Sully wasn't much of a problem to me, I just wished he was with Nate more than just doing things on his own. In the games, the biggest flaw about Sully was that he's old so he's not as athletic or maneuverable or strong as Nate, but he makes up for his charming personality. Mark Sully, yeah he is not really Sully. I think it would've worked better if they aged him a bit while still being charming in his own way. At least he got the mustache at the end of the movie?

I love both these actors but they were terrible in this movie
In 1986, a then 15-year-old Wahlberg and three friends were charged for chasing three black children and pelting them with rocks while yelling: “Kill the n*****s” until an ambulance driver intervened.
The next day, Wahlberg harrassed another group of mostly black children (around the age of nine or 10) at the beach, gathering other white men to join in racially abusing and throwing rocks at them.
A seemingly unrelated second incident occurred two years later in 1988, when Wahlberg attacked two Vietnamese men while high on PCP.
He called one man, Thanh Lam, a “Vietnam f***ing s***” and knocked him unconscious with a five-foot wooden stick, while punching another man, army veteran Johnny Trinh, in the eye later in the same day. Officers reported that Wahlberg used racist slurs to describe both of his victims.
Too modern, too noisy, too quick.. I don't like that movie at all after seeing two clips.

Imo its a good movie also with the games. Tbh a perfect prequel in my eyes. Yes they put some action scenes in that didn't happen later in the franchise, but because of these actors we and how old they are we get to see at least 5 uncharted movies. + The humor was spot on imo.
