addison conte it looked like a bounce or one stride to me, she recovered fairly well after the trip in the water so when she jumped the first one there’s not really much you can fix in between jumps when their that close
I agree with that, Because that horse was not in balance and then still jumped the second one , Would have been better to just skip jumping the second one.
I am glad that both horse and rider are ok but I'm so glad that the horse did not break his leg, other wise, would have to be putting down. Because a horse is not like a human, a horse needs 4 legs To be alive

Rotation falls almost everytime is the reason for killed equestrians if you look it up. I don't get, why these freaking obstacles cant go down, or move... its so dangerous! :-(

The vests only inflate when separated from the horse. They don’t detect a fall otherwise. Which is why most federations require another non inflatable vest under the inflatable ones
I was going over poles the other day and suddenly my horse tripped he’s responded to the trip really well and managed to no fall on me I didn’t fall beacuse of what he did I was so lucky also that fall must of hurt a lot

Let's put the designer of this course running thru a bunch of jumps and see how he feels. I BET they wouldn't make it so tricky. I was a veterinary technician in the Army for 5 years and worked at animal clinics after. When you have to euthanize a horse or large animal, you will have an ENTIRE different view on how animals are treated. Unless YOU are willing to RUN the actual course and jump it, don't force an animal to do it.

If you take a fall like that you're not going to be looking at much of anything. You're just going to be in complete shock and in terrible pain. I'm surprised the rider even stood up.

He stumbled after the first water jump. That’s not the riders fault. The horse just stumbled. But that set him up bad for the second jump and he did not have enough time to collect himself properly. I don’t think the rider could’ve done much to prevent this.

Rotational falls are the worst type of falls any equestrian could have, it causes most riding deaths as the horse literally falls on top of you
