Words fail to describe my feelings about this tune. It does what its supposed to do and more. It truly drives home that music is a language, and Bob Reynolds is a masterful communicator. First Bob, then Nir Felder takes us on a amazing treatment of the tune (his chops are incredible), then it reaches a climax and Bob restates the theme ... spine tingling stuff. Nuff' said.
As an unqualified non-saxophone player, this is the smoothest saxophone player I've ever heard.

I know some of you must hear it-Nir Felder is on another plane-That's an incredible level mastery of the instrument and harmony-But then he plays the music. Exactly what Bird asked us to do.
After many years of using youtube without an account, I just had to make one to be able to comment on this beauty..... Bob, this is amazing, simply amazing piece. So touching, so emotional. Melancholic, ethereal, but suddenly in that wonderful break of harmony..... I feel almost physical wave of peace and happiness flowing through me, so nice. I wish I could feel my tenor as you do. You didnt just blew out cascades of tones and scales, you painted one beautiful musical picture here a string of melodies. Art, true art here. Such a feeling and articulation. All of you are brilliant, If only Mark added his solo too, I would not mind one more guitar solo at all, especially from Mark. Guys .... Amazing, undescribable experince for me. Thx for sharing your geniuses with us. Will be returning here many times more, totally caught
I’ve traversed many musical landscapes of improvisational music and this is top notch. I knew Bob was #bae but for fuck sake.. that guitar solo was a revelation. It’s beyond my understanding but it was pure and beautiful musicianship, and beyond that I’m speechless. Amazing work, guys!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 ...hypnotic vibrations.. shivers... like watching her eyes and sailing her soul.. each other's crush...... 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 ..bought yesterday signed cd.. truly a Masterpiece!!! Thank You Bob for Your Art and Soulful playing!!!!
What a gem. You barely notice that modulation but it grabs you by the heart. Mr. Reynolds steps out of the shadow of Redman, Turner. And Mr. Felder's solo was subtle and beautiful. I'm a long time Lettieri fan, and the two of them span a universe on this album. Felder reminds me of Steve Khan, especially harmonically, but he brings a lot that's new. Also, Sput really shines on the more subtle tunes; nice to see him in a straight jazz setting vs. Snarky Puppy.
The musicianship is incredible for a sax player to utilise the full potential of the guitars/drums in the composition of such a nice piece. Keep it up Bob (and co) !!!!
I'd like to find the words to describe the sax piece but i just cant. Incredible bob. All the right notes in their correct place with an insane sensibility. I only hope to someday be able to play like that
I love that light country groove for all the begining of this song, pure beauty by sound, giving wings . This light groove could of lasted the whole song !!
..it's fun to listen to..it makes me want to go and practice. The two guys in the audience at 4:44 are the best :) I see a full technical analysis of the music but not a lot of groove intake :)
BOB! This is amazing man! So much emotion in this piece and I could definitely feel it as well! What an all-star cast of musicians with you too! Proud of what you all are doing!
I Jam to this 6 song set on replay while i work.. amazing stuff. I've been a subscriber for a few years now and its amazing watching your talents and your videos grow in popularity.
Bob! This is fantastic. You guys have a beautiful original sound. In addition to watching your vlogs regularly, discovering the guitar band was awesome.
wow!!! bob, this is amazing. i can see the passion in your eyes. and the music that flows through that instrument mesmerizes anyone who hears it. i am a guitarist ,and watching this has inspired me to even further myself to such musical passion.
Third time watching this and I just got chills. I love it when a tune becomes just familiar enough to barely anticipate what's about to happen. Lovely. This whole set is fantastic, BTW.
Man, I completely agree with all the other comments, this composition of yours is pure emotion, you have a lot of taste in the choice of phrasing, both in composing and soloing.. Great work, I really thank you
Descobri Reynolds há cinco anos, um dos meus músicos favoritos. Amo esse álbum, uma das melhores peças de arte que ouvi na minha vida. Sax parece uma poesia, guitarras sensacionais. Gênios!

It was a journey, wasn't it? It was fun!
how come you said exactly what I was thinking!? :)
Amazing chemestry!!
Sput on the drums makes everything else possible.

Felder was absolutely killing. Wow.
+Adam Marshall Yes....I wonder if he ever listens to Terje Rypdal?
Me @3:25 "wow that keyboard sounds great!", me again at 3:30 "wait a second, they dont have anyone on keys!!"
I love how Bob shares the stage with other spectacular musicians. That's confidence. Everyone wins.

Absolutely stunning, tears in my eyes.

This is how you get horn players into guitarists.
Michael Benoit works the other way around, too ;)
Love the final shot on the sax! The texture and dynamics there at the end was perfect. Can't wait to see the next 5!

What are the odds of finding a guitar version of the Lingus solo, and what are the odds of bob and mark being being there too!

Thanks, Jonah. Me, too!

It's one thing to be able to play, it's a completely different thing to be so in tune with your other band mates. ONE mind (Nir is still a god tho)
