Hey Bob i play this everytime I'm in my car ... thank you
One of the best musical experiences you are legally allowed by your government and religious masters on TH-cam...damn!
Seems like every few months I rediscover a new tune from this session. I still think Can't Wait for Perfect is, in fact, perfection, but this is truly mind blowing.
The intro is dope, and Felder accepted the challenge. Jeez, got so much to practice lmfao
Great intro man. Such a pure, round saxophone sound.
Nir Felder is huge on these theme, what a great solo and feeling.
Been a huge fan of his tone since I first listened to him at Janek Gwizdala's Theatre By The Sea album.
Hope this songs are put together in an album, I'd buy it for sure!
At first I was a bit like "who's this other dude playing guitar in the same band as my favorite guitarist?" Then after a while I realized it was actually my other favorite guitarist! All these tracks are SO satisfying.
OMG. THAT intro is incredible
Holy crap, Nir's delivering the solo of the year on this one.
The way he attack and attach notes is just so beautiful at 1:51. It's full of details ¡¡
I'm studying (transcribing and learning to play) this introduction. It is absolutely full of small, lovely details.
Hey Bob, I was there in this show...It was amazing...this song is my preferred...but I remember that I was so tired because I wake up at 3:00 AM at that day, then played in a classical concert and teaching all day at the Colburn Scholl in a 3 days bassoon festival. Not to mention that the time zone here of Brazil is of 5 - 6 hours more ... for that reason I seem dead in the video hahaha....thanks for recording this video, Now I can watch at home as many times as I want, and wake up!
Sound goals
Stunning, what a brilliant intro into this song, and with such feeling.
I am currently transcribing your intro, potentially my favorite three minutes of music ever!
Nice music. Nir felder youre so awesome. And each other
Absolutely phenomenal intro
His ability to suggest a great human voice while playing a horn is very moving. What a wonderful sound!
Must feel pretty grand to play in such a band.
Props to all of you and your guys, Bob. Some ace music going on.
Thanks Bob the music sounds like a modern day bach cello suite! Bill. UK
As free flowing as this is, the bass player seriously looks like he is reading a chart.
And the drummer is tastie to the max, what a driver. The transmission, drive shaft, and rear differential.
That intro solo: i love it.
Nir plays amazing, it's like nothing I've ever heard before. It feels familiar but sounds strange and interesting.
Exactly! Its all over the place, but in a unique and interesting way!
And there are some great melodic ideas in his solo.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS MAN
Killer intro. Hints of Eddie Harris.
Very nice. Found you through Janek's vlog.. Glad I did.
I never was a fan of the saxophone but you sir made me like it.
such an impeccable sound!
My CD came in the mail today! Going to be in rotation non-stop!😎
love it :) clever tune well written and well played
Bob, beautiful sound. Thank you for all of your VLOG's. You certainly will inspire all saxophone players with your playing and teachings. Keep up the great work.
Great sound and musicality, wonderful !
I saw you on Pisa with Snarky Puppy and i love you. I was very excited, thanks for you're music!
Bob Reynolds you my sir are a monster!!
Who needs breakfast when you can start the day off with this 😉 Great shape to the entire piece! Thanks Bob
Great great great sounds! :) This is what I want to be doing with a group as well!
amazing
My favorite solo opening since Hide and Seek.
Really feelin it man! Love it!
Thanks, Lourenco.
Am I crazy or the guitar solo has a lot of references to Donna Lee? Like around 8:22 it's pretty clear.
I love it, great stuff!
Loving your sound Bob !!!
belleza, every video is awesome, sooooo pretty,..!!
fastastic, Master!! thanks for always give us inspiration
Man that intro really sounds great! What mic are you using on the sax? I want that sound ;)
It's all about the lip action on the mouth piece.
Wunderbar! Gänsehaut!
Hey Bob! This is some great stuff that you're putting out! Keep it up! I was wondering if you were going to be vlogging your time on the Snarky Puppy tour. It'd be really cool to see how it is to tour with them. Thanks!
What's written on the ceiling?
How on earth there even be 1 thumbs down.
Angry sad people unfortunately
great !
Divino 😌💕
off the hook! ! ! Nice! !
Bob what mouthpiece are you playing. I'm looking for one for my Tenor. What do you recommend?

What sax did Bob use in this video?
Have you listened argentinian Folk music? since recently snarky released the track PALERMO.
Nicolas Francolino That song was written by their percussionst Marcelo Woleski (I think I spelt his name wrong there) who is from Argentina
in weach key is the intro Bob??
Db
Sorry Bob but whats the point of the smoke machine?
On stage ambiance and visually pleasing shots. It’s a common technic used in cinematography.
As Three Pieces by Bob Mintzer
4:34 ; Enjoy

Wanna say the intro was influenced by Chris Potter but hey what do I know...
Yeah, man. Definitely.. I love Bob, but after Chris such kind of introduces... You know what I mean..
Taras Rogachenko haha we all do but Bob is an amazing influence
Yeah, but Sonny Rollins was doing this back in the 70s...
not wanting to take away from Bob's own beautiful personal spin on it of course :)
+Arthur Crouzet I didn't I said he got his intro influenced by Chris
Munholand***
Michael Brecker that's gy
The lick @ 8:22
Sput is grooving too hard lol
Great playing, too bad it seems to be a room full of guys, probably mostly musicians. What's missing for wider appeal?
Not the smoke machine, it seems...
