I’ve been running Arid-X’s since 2016. The 7’3” MHF 1 piece spec is my go to everything from crankbaits to whopper ploppers. You can’t beat it. Oh, I picked up a 5.5 pound largemouth on it and it never even splintered.

      7'3 MH 5.5lb. Bass, I would hope it wouldn't splinter. 5.5 lb. I hope even a ultralight wouldn't splinter.

I seen a casting 1 in person, they feel insane, and look insane, I was hoping no one would show these on the Tube 😄😂

had one years ago.. was one of my favorite spinning rods. I replaced it with a Daiwa RG 7'3" med light fast. About 40$ more but def. a little better sensitivity. Although for the price, you can't beat this rod.

I have the casting version of this rod. Backbone is strong. Caught 12 great sized fish within 2 hours. Hasn’t failed me yet

I have a shimano Sahara for 2 years and it’s smoother than the day I bought it because the gears get polished as time goes on. I absolutely love that reel, I’ve put it through the test. I’m a kayak angler.

Been using my Sahara since high school going on 8 years or so, still fantastic and one of my go too

The Diawa dwave combo is a amazing starter rod and reel for a supper affordable price. I’ve had it almost a year now fishing salt and fresh water and I have zero complaints

Just got 2 for $29.99 each. We’ll see how they perform. They’re a good quality carbon fiber wrap, so there’s less material used, which makes them really lightweight. The downside is they’re gonna be more brittle.

Got a 6’6 medium that’s my “all purpose” rod with a Daiwa Regal LT 2500 and 15lb braid. Caught some nice fish with it.

liked and subscribed. got this one on order. hope it arrives someday. shipping that involves ups and then the handoff to usps has started to go downhill. currently have two items apparently waiting for pickup that have been delayed a couple of times en route and then not delivered to boot. i'm done with mail order.

Really? I just found this on sale for $39.99 at a couple sites online. Academy and Midway I think… maybe it’s just better if I go to Dick’s sporting goods or Cabelas and try them out. I’m waiting on my Shimano Nasci 2500FC to be delivered. Rods shipped get me nervous because it’s just awkward packaging. I think I’ll get the two-piece if I get this. Also thinking of the Shimano SLX

I own 3 of these Daiwa Aird X rods. Very light, very sensitive for $50 rod, but i hate the guides. If you cast jigs the line doesn't go through the guides fast enough. The first guide by the reel seat is to low. The micro guides are to small. If you tie lines together as a leader or use slip bobbers with bobber stoppers, they get hung up in the micro guides. Overall great rod, but don't like the guides.

I have this in a casting rod. I got it on sale for like $30 I think. Fished it for a couple years now with no issues at all. Great rod for sure.

Those are nice for the money for sure. I honestly feel like the shimano clarus rod is the best bang for your buck. It's 80$ though but you get a 30 ton graphite blank with fugi guides and reel seat. Even the abu veritas doesn't offer fugi anything on their 30 ton blank and it's 100$!! Mannnnn I can't wait for the spring man

I got 2 of them and they are amazing. But for 10 bucks cheaper, you got to try the Lews Hank Parker casting and/or spinning rods. I got 2 casting so far and need to pickup another casting and try their spinning one. For 40 bucks, you can't beat it and I like them a little bit better than the Aird-X.

I snagged a couple of these guys for $35 at a local tackle shop here in NC and they’re amazing for what you get. My 7ft heavy is probably my most versatile and most used casting rod

@@iateurpizza2778 nah most are a carbon weave around the graphite so you get strength and flex without bulk so it is a bit skinnier but still a very good rod for 55$

The ML Aird spinning is THE BEST WALLEYE JIG ROD EVER!!!! Tough finding a 7' ML rod for under $100. Better than St Croix eyecon. St Croix mojo bass and bass X make a 6'10 ML xf but, this is BETTER!!

I have the exact same rod!!! I think it’s awesome! Have an Abu Garcia reel on it. I use mine for crank baits! The tip has good flex to keep the fish pinned! Very sensitive!!!! It definitely looks good in the sun!😀 You’ll like it after you use it a few times!

2:42 I'm really curious how you never looked at Daiwa as a "company that made good rods"? The Tatula line of rods alone are some of the best rods in the industry. I own many different rods from Ugly Stiks to G. Loomis and everything in between. Daiwa and Shimano are the gold standard in the industry. Followed by companies like St. Croix. Below that are your Lews, Abu Garcia and so on. Then you have high end ones like G. Loomis and Edge Rods. I know it's your opinion but it caught me off guard when you said that you've never looked at Daiwa as a company that made good rods.
