Swain voice lines and interactions shows how much time he spent googling lores.
I like how over time, some of the League's "Villains" and "heroes" have been shuffled around with the lore changes. There's much less black and white, and it's closer to more realistic kingdoms, with few being outright evil, and few being outright good. It's all shades of grey, and that's something that's fantastic.

I really like this political game they are making between Swain and LeBlanc. I have a headcanon that even though Swain “feeds” on the knowledge of people because of the demon he controls, the only person he can never find any information on is LeBlanc. Which would mean she has ways of avoiding the demons (crow’s) eyes.

I mean, the story is literally told here, it tried to take Swain's secrets but Swain realized, saw through the demon, learned how to wield it, and took it by force through a ritual. This was not a pact, far from it, Swain made the demon his bitch, now he is going to use it to do the same thing to the Black Rose, Noxus, and the lands he conquers, all in the name of Noxus, and in preparation for whatever darkness he knows is coming.
Zander Wolfe I hope Swain stays a grey character and that he’s not just a corrupt ruler, but that he does what he genuinely thinks is best for Noxus. That’s the whole point of Noxus. That it’s not just some evil place with evil people doing evil things. But that it’s the unexpected good guy in Runeterra

I mean, for now, I do believe that the Void is going to be the final boss of the lore, making everyone gather together to stop it, because if they don't, there will not have anything to fight for. Even Morderkaiser would have interest in stoping the Void, since he still needs an existence to rule at. However, Aatrox and the other Darkin would probably join the Void. Aatrox himself states that he would embrace the Void now if he had the chance.
Morderkaiser, at the other hand, is THE threat to Noxus. They build the capital around his beloved Bastion, and he's probably mad at them, mostly at LeBlanc. The Black Rose's existence is not only to rule Noxus, but also to keep Morderkaiser away, and LeBlanc knows that Swain can be an good asset to it, that's why the Pale Woman is a member of the Trifarix.

As for Freljord, it's queen no matter where you look, because it is ultimately a fight between Lissandra, Ashe (AKA Avarosa reincarnated, AKA the reincarnated sister of Lissandra), and Sejuani (AKA Serylda reincarnated, AKA the OTHER reincarnated sister of Lissandra, and we do not know who will come out on top as the true queen of the Freljord but for not its essentially Lissandra in the only official seat.

No, because it isn't trapped in a weapon, and on top of this it doesn't try to fight back or control Swain. It is also confirmed to be a demon, which ISN'T the same as a Darkin.
This is just a demon, probably in it's early stages before it had time to make it's very own physical form like Nocturne, Evelynn, and Tahm Kench did, so Swain took it and was able to control it.
