The more lore we get into the shadow clan the more proof we get Zed is not evil, but rather an anti-hero.

He wanted to save ionia from him kusho believed that ionia need to see the horror of wars again so he release jhin free and zed knew about that so decided to be an assassin to kill his master in order to save hundred of lives from his actions and also kusho was trying to conceive kayn to kill zed but kayn refused
crude and possibly biased summary: riot writers performed a mental gymnastics to make zed a good guy.
at no point up until that 1 comic, was it implied or foreshadowed or any form of hint or clue, just out of the blue, kusho is evil, wow zero build up, zero plot, zero explanation, wow.

if you look at rhast carefully he looks like a sad creasent

so aatrox (the blade) fully took over the human that wielded him and now the blade (who's name is aatrox) controls the human that weilded him, which is why his lore says aatrox and the blade are one.
kayne is stronger than aatrox's host was, but not strong enough to fully over power rhaast, so he is trying to fight off total overtaking.
varus was very strong and was able to fully fight off his darkin. he didn't kill the darkin which is why he can still use the bow and why he has the purple corruption on him, but basically the darkin is just varus' bitch now and varus is in control. we don't know the name of varus' darkin yet.

So i have a theory
-Aatrox is the darkin of war not the only darkin that is still free
-Rhaast is the darkin of death but his trapped in a scythe fighting for control.
-Varus is the darkin of vengeance or his bow is the darkin but unlike Kayn and Rhaast varus and his darkin work together because they both want vengeance thats why varus quotes always sound like there is a second person talking in the back ground.

Necrit, I'd like to see a lore power tier list for all of the characters that would resolve so many questions. Like are the darkin as powerful as celestials like Bard? Can Cho'Gath really eat the universe? If so, could he fight Aurelion Sol? How would Garen fare against Lux? So many questions!

i think that the darkin are some sort of balance keepers between the normal world the magic/ghost world and the void. and that they are some sort of gods inbetween the worlds (Necrit i love your lore storys and your videos i hope you will reach 200 k soon )

+Necrit look what i am found,i think the orginal chratcher from riot took idea for this champion is Sir Percedal of Sadlygrove from cartoon Wakfu because he have weapon names Rubilax(this weapon have is living being inside of him,calls shushu)same like Kayn have darkin inside of his sickle.
I forgot to say that this shushu can take body of his owner like darkin of Kayn.

I like the idea between these 2 characters. it remi do me of the game soul calibur, where there was a sword named soul edge tat was known to give the weilder immense power, but at a price for testing blade will take the soul of the welder and take their body, most likely to ravage in chaos and killing
it would be cool if you and riot made a collab and the VA's acted the parts where the champion spoke
I started to think of it like this where the blade forever took over attrox and maybe blade hasn't fully taken over him or attrox was to weak to wield the blade so the blade took over him and may be is strong enough to choose
