- Not the easiest of a job to get through on the old driveway, especially if it starts pissing down on top of you. Had a bit of trouble with a couple of bolts that didn't want to open, but brute force and pure ignorance won the day. Started off with over 90 minutes of raw footage containing lots of swearing and looking for Jesus. Narrowed it down to this, as I felt it was the most relevant.

Mate, this is a brilliant video. Thanks so much for sharing it with us. Great stuff. Always makes me nervous seeing people not putting a tyre under their sills as extra support "just in case". I know there's not always room though. Again, great stuff and keep up the good work!

Great video George old mate. Wow those bushes were shot when you could move them with just your fingers. the bush puller worked ok. Well done for working through the rain. Feel your pain mate. Only helpful advice i can offer is invest in a 11mm brake pipe spanner which is like a ring spanner with a slot cut out. Only about 6 euro ebay but can save rounding the soft copper brake pipe nut.
Hi Fred. Yeah, they were bad. It's like a different car now. Brake pipe spanner, I have one of those somewhere. Copper brake pipe nut? I don't use those, only steel ones. It came out ok, So hard to know what footage to use and what to cut out. It pissed down on top of me for a good three hours on Saturday, I had no choice but to keep going as it was back in for a retest on Sunday. Parts were late coming so that didn't help.

That arm and bush is the thing that's making my back end vibrate like made
Least 2 cm movement top to bottom on the wheel when jacked up
Can't wait for some free time to replace, as well as 4 knackered shockers (coilover kit will be installed) then she will sit nice on the x5 alloys I have put on it

God that's a long time ago. I borrowed a bush removal set from a garage man I'm friendly with.

@@GeorgeEI7KO highest 525d m57 motor i had was 270 thousand miles. Did 155 plus and 58 mpg on a 400 mile round trip. Purchased her for £1100 crashed into rear end. Fixed her, full respray. All arms front and back, discs front and back, turbo , manifold, injectors. Dpf delete, egr delete and remap.did 40 thousand miles in 2 years and had 3 grand in her minus labour and sold for 3 grand
