Not sure why this would need explaining much - video does a good enough job.
He's literally doing a read/write speed test on his current external drive. Then taking the drive out of the USB 2.0 enclosure and putting it into a USB 3.0 enclosure and testing the r/w speeds again on a USB 3.0 cable. I got exactly what I needed from this video 👍

No link to buy one of those? I have the exact my passport and was hoping to find a link after video. So really it just doesn’t have a fast enough input output speed

Is there a way to take an old Seagate 2TB external hard drive 2.0 and make it a 3.0? I have had mine for several years and want to upgrade it to work for my PS4. As it sits now it won't work since it is not a 3.0. Having a hard time finding any good information on this. Mine is a silver boxy version that requires external power.

If it requires external power, it's a 3.5 SATA: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LS5NFQ2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
That adapter will work for a 2.5 as well, but they don't require power outside of a USB, so those can be found for ~$10 on amazon

B Ram I think he used a new usb 3.0 case (see he put the hard-disk in a transparent case) . The old black case of his hard-disk had usb 2.0
