If I were an Oriole, I wouldn't be smiling either. Of course, if I were an Oriole, my walk-up music would be "Given Up" by Linkin Park too, so there is that.
Sort of a perfect storm. Starting pitchers getting hurt. Bullpen just coming up a little short. The biggest one to me is development and transition of players. Turning out to take longer for guys like Cowser, Kjerstad, Mayo, Holliday to catch fire. Then the veterans were streaky so we get these stretches of absolute zero offense. I don't see the O's winning any playoff series. That being said go Birds. When the playoffs start I'll be there wanting it to happen.
I secretly think Connor Norby is doing so much better now specifically because he got away from the Orioles. Hyde's statement from the post-game bothered me, the "With Jackson hitting well tonight, and Slater struggling, did you even consider leaving Jackson in there against Miller?" - "No." thing. I know a comment like that would mess with me as a player.
We keep blaming hitting coaches but at what point do we blame the players? When a player hits a home run or a clutch hit we don’t recognize the hitting coach.
They a bunch of losers 😂😂they thought because they got Corbin burnes they were a World Series bound bunch of rookies with no experience oh wait what happened to Holliday?
@@PigTownSports he be in the minors next year 😂 just admit it he’s a bust and overhyped prospect who can’t handle the big league the whole orioles team are overhyped 😂
What's your opinion on Gunnar trying to play half the field when he leads the league in errors? Does anyone say anything to him about this or is it just it is what it is?
We watched gunnar for 1.5 years play a really good SS ... and idk whats going on lately.. Idk if hes playing hurt / sore ... but ive seen enough in the past to know hes a great defender.. just gotta snap out of it

Orioles need a coaching change. Hyde was good for the rebuild but not good for being competative.
For a long time i disagreed with that sentence... but its creeping on me quickly..
Hyde is an elite level manager. He just... hasn't found the right Dollar General yet.

Holliday will be fine . He’s young . He’s been about on par with the better average of MLB rookies this season . Only a select few are any good
@@PigTownSports he will be fine batting 170? The overhyped prospect future hall of famer 😂
Yes he will be fine . Let’s chat this time next year

@@JorgeFeliz-v4l why would any logical baseball fan make an assumption on some one at 20 years old and 2 months in the majors ?
See if someone could interview Hayes.. he specifically wanted out, I’m curious if there’s other reasons aside from his playing time that caused that.
I think his contract played into that too.. going into his final year of ARB.. he wanted to play everyday to get a payday
