The chemistry around this team is insane. It’s undeniable how much chemistry this team has together. You can see this is more like a brotherhood than anything else. They truly all put the team first. They will all do whatever is needed of them to make the team the best it can be. I love everything about this team. I would go as far as to say this might be one of the best rosters they’ve had in my 31 yrs on this earth. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more complete roster from ML to minor lgs. They have so much depth it’s not even funny.

From that day on I was known in my family as the Baltimore Baby! I tell everyone friends and foes alike that I was born a Baltimore Fan and have always been a hardcore Orioles fan. My father would always get me souvenirs like balls, bats, pennant banners, flags etc. when I was a little whipper snapper too young to even know how special they really were and how much that all meant to my father. I will always remember and cherish the time my father handed me the signed Brooks Robinson baseball and bat. Thank You Mr. Rubenstein for bringing back those feelings again and THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR BRINGING BACK THAT MAGIC!!!!

This team is FILLED with superstars!! How can anyone NOT enjoy watching this team?! If you love baseball, there’s no way you can’t root for the O’s! I might be bias but this team is so fun to watch! So many great young players and players that are great but don’t get the recognition they should bc of their peers that are so good. **cough cough Westburg cough cough**

The next chapter is the dynasty of the Orioles, a dynasty that can achieve inconceivable levels of success and set a standard that becomes the tradition of Baltimore baseball, as it impacts baseball as a whole for years to come. Everyone in this group, the guys on the big league club right now, and the few guys in the minors, Basallo, Holliday, Mayo, Norby, have to make an extra effort to stay together their entire careers. Even if it means playing less than you would somewhere else and making less money than players you’re better than, because they play your same position for another team. You are the greatest assembling of talent on a sports team since the dream team. Holliday, Henderson, Rutschman, Kjerstad, Basallo, Mayo, Cowser, Westburg, Santander, Mountcastle, Mullins, Hays, Mateo, Urias, Norby, Rodriguez, Bradish, Bautista, Burnes. You guys need to make the extra effort with the front office to ensure you play your entire careers together. Your sacrifices will be rewarded with a legacy that even most professional athletes never dream of experiencing. We are talking legendary like Murderer’s Row. Dominant like the 90s Bulls. Consistency and longevity like the Brady, Belichick era. All you have to do is make the financial and personal sacrifices that allow Elias to keep the team together with enough room to add a couple more like-minded individuals of your same caliber of talent. People of similar pedigree. Another starting pitcher like Burnesy, Bradish, Grayson and a couple more relievers like Bautista. Three players from being the most complete team in baseball history, arguably all sports, but only if you’re willing to take all the time, effort and sacrifices you’ve already invested into baseball and add financial/minor playing time concessions to that investment you’ve made up to this point. More banners than the booster club, more center stage performances than the Beatles and more rings than Brady and Jordon. Careers that will be celebrated by the organization and Baltimore as a whole for years to come, celebrations that will bring the team together and back to the field time and time again so the city can celebrate with you, over and over again. Trophies Displayed, Team Hall of Fame Inductions, Statues Erected, Numbers Retired and Gold Jackets Adorned. Together, in Baltimore, is where this opportunity sits at your feet. If you’re over 30 you have 6-10 years of untold success with this club ahead of you, but a maximum of 5 regular, ordinary careers if you pursue paychecks elsewhere. The majority is under 25, all of whom have an opportunity to experience this rare glory for 15-20+ years together, but no more than 10-15 of regular MLB careers elsewhere. Until this docu series I didn’t know that players were signing the inside of the Green Monster. Boston are rivals but good for them to let the players do that.
As being someone who was born the day the O’s won the ‘70 WS and living in Baltimore, new ownership couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. Under the Angelos regime, us O’s fans knew we were seeing something special that was going to only last a couple of years. Guys like Gun, Adley, West, and even Jax were only seen as trade bait for subpar players that other teams were only benefiting from. Now, under the new ownership, we aren’t seen as a team that’s basically a minor league affiliate of all of the other MLB teams. We’re going to be taken seriously and a team that’s going to be a threat for years to come. This new ownership just changed the AL East and MLB as a whole. We’re going to see just how many lies the Angelos regime has told us about our “small market” team. There’s a difference when paying a few more dollars to go and see a contender, than paying a few more dollars to go and see a 100 plus losing team!!
Gunnar, Adley, westburg, Holliday, Cowser, mountcastle need to be locked in long term. Suarez definitely has some years left as well. Maybe swing him a good deal too.
