Really enjoying your videos! I just got a prologue 8 and you have been a great source of information/inspiration. Thank you.

That's so exciting to hear! I'm glad they've been helpful. The Prologue 8 is an overlooked powerhouse for the price

Brilliant vid. The modulation limitations have just been lifted. Great Job

Thank you very much! I was watching Talking Synths the other day and it was great hearing them answer your question about your Prologue! I was like "omg I know Scott" 🤣

Subscribed! Very nice video. I do something similar but on a simpler level. I take ReaEq, and remove all the bands but one. This I make a Low Pass Filter. Then I modulate this with an LFO, just as you have shown. Or place it in an envelope to draw in the filtering, to taste. Thanks for showing how ReaControl Midi works. This is a much more powerful tool.

Great video. You can also rename the CC names to match your synth and save it as a template ;) Reaper is awesome!

Interesting to see someone else doing this. I've been doing the same thing with Max4Live devices in Live with my Prologue. However I've found that when I string a few LFOs or Envelopes together modulating different CCs, that it sometimes becomes too much for synth and it starts going haywire. Have you run into issues like that? One of the benefits of Live and having a Push 2 is that I can map the controls for the LFOs and Envelopes to knobs on different pages on Push, effectively giving me a Low Frequency Expander for nix.

Yes, I have noticed that around 5~ LFO's the prologue gets angry 😂 I don't know if it's a limitation of USB 2.0, Reaper or The Prologue itself.

@@VultureCulture Could just be overloading the Prologue with MIDI messages I guess as I'm using a different DAW and the old fashioned MIDI plug rather than USB. I'm not good friends with Korg's USB driver for Windows!

I wonder if there is a way to do this with logic? Love me some reaper but I’m about to switch to Mac. Great videos man!

Check out Cable guys Midi shaper: www.cableguys.com/midishaper.html
It might work for you but I can't vouch for it because I haven't had a chance to review it yet.
