I think Varys was a priest for the mad king and he heard “burn the wall” from the flames but thought he heard “burn them all” causing the mad king to burn as he did. Instead the wall was meant to burn to make peace beyond the wall with not only white walkers, but wildlings as well.

Ser Duncan the Tall shaved his "squire's" head to disguise the fact that Egg was a Targaryen (Aegon V- Maester Aemon's younger brother) also known as Aegon the Unlikely - The Mad King's grandfather. I think you're on to something when you compare Varys' privates and Gendry's leeched blood being used for blood magic. I never made the connection with Varys' and royal blood. I like Varys, though I think he will probably be trapped by his good intentioned plans. Can't wait to find out.

He's not been loyal to the Targaryens - He had the chance of a great Realm and reign under Rhaegar - a great Targaryen - but he told Aerys of Rhaegar's plans to otherthrow him at the Great Council/tourney at Harranhal. He was whispering in Aerys' ears for the last part of his reign, no doubt whispering things that made him even more mad. In the books, it makes more sense for hinm to be a Blackfyre, but yeah, in the show....maybe not.

Varys and his old friend, Illyrio Mopatis from the start have been big supporters in the restoration of the Targaryen Dynasty. Now, The Spider has two of them... oh, and the queen may be pregnant? His "little birds" will get word to him that Queen Cersei has made inquiries with the Golden Company. So, Lord Varys will send word to his old partner... and the wealthy magister from Pentos will do what he does. The sellswords will be responsible for a bit of "poetic justice" when it looks like they've arrived to help crown... just like the Lannister's did for the Targaryen's. Plus, letting the sons of exiled Westerosi lords return home and reclaim their lands... if they fight for Westeros against the Night King and the Army of the Dead would align with Daenerys' philosophy... not blaming the children for the evil deeds of their fathers.

What if Kimbara actually WAS milisandra in another form? She can make herself look young so she can probably make herself look like somebody else. She did say she was leaving westeros for a while. She did talk to Varys about his experience before leaving Westeros so she knew about it and there was no indication anyone else in the order of light knew. I think they were in fact one in the same. I do strongly agree that there is something fucky about his death though, so HeS ether alive or resurected as a servant of the light or resurected as the night king by the children. I would find it more believeable that if he didnt die or was resurected, he would go to ashai or beond. Why? To set in motion the whole lightbringer stuff, knowing that his son is safe with ned and helping dany thru the fire priests and possibly even have a hand in getting the dragon eggs to dany.
