I tried replaying Spider-Man ps4 and Spider-Man 2 but it just didn't the same anymore like the Arkham Trilogy. Arkham Asylum, City and Knighrt are just absolute gems

Honestly same, it introduced me to the goat who is Kevin Conroy and made me appreciate the character of Batman more
I said it before and i'll say it always.
What makes this game special is that this truly was THE ONE Time that comic book fans got their game, this is the only truly AAA game in all of gaming history where the developers made everything from the ground trying to appeal to a comic book reader fanbase, if they managed to pick up the fans of the tv shows and mainstream live action films that is awesome, but it was collateral, this game symbolizes something much more potent though, comic book fans and their suggestions and ideas for what would make a great superhero game go largely ignored, always, because what we want is usually the polar opposite of what the casual mainstream consumer wants so it would be essentially a financial penalty to make a game like this.
The HUD...the sounds, the artwork, the bloom and lighting and volumetric fog, the angles of the cuscenes, this game was a peak love letter from rocksteady to us, it is basically a billion comic book panels brought to life, Rocksteady basically said "i know you are always ignored, dismissed and a lot of times even ridiculed for your ridiculous ideas, well, we love you and we are going to put all of those ridiculous ideas into full power, enjoy bud

Just recently replayed this after like 8 years and holy shit it took me back. Love this game
Each Arkham game was an improvement of what once was... Paving the way for what we'd get in gaming years later. That is until with the Suicide Squad: Kills the Justice League happened and everything took us back years of superhero game evolution.

Loved this game but the scarecrow parts were sooooo goofy
Some parts yes, there were segments where it felt too "video gamey" but i feel like Rocksteady really gave a great horror aspect to Scarecrow for the time it was made in
ps: please dont play return to arkham, the Arkham Asylum return to arkham version has completly ruined Batman's face and the atmosphere when they removed all of the fog and bloom, just go back to PC and play the game, it doesnt matter how bad your computer is, this game will run fine even on intel integrated graphics, your pc can run OG Arkham Asylum , just play it there.
