Yeah, considering that WB's most recent in house game was a pile of trash that also had a hand in accelerating the anti-woke grift to new levels of brainrot thanks to being written by Sweet Baby Inc members (a writers' conglomerate made up of mostly stereotypical far-left activists), this new outsourcing initiative has a SHITTON of potential. The amount of franchises that could continue and DC characters that could be adapted are seemingly infinite given the amount of stuff that WB owns. I myself am holding out for a new F.E.A.R. game (or at the very least, a Night Dive Studios remaster of the first two games and the expansion packs). Thanks to this announcement, it seems a comeback for the First Encounter Assault Recon and Dead Echo teams and the threats of Armacham, Fettel and Alma could be on the cards in one way or another.

I just don’t want edgy, I’m fine with brooding if it actually goes somewhere. The big problem when superman fans see a edgy or loner Superman is we think Snyder Superman or new 52 Superman. With credit to Snyder at least some people like that Superman. Ain’t no one like new 52 Superman, I can’t name a single story arc he had because it was straight annoying how this character acted. But the difference is with this Superman is that he isn’t the only one. We still have our main comic supes and can try out this new version and let them cook.

I wanna point out that the last Superman came out nearly 20 years ago and was tie in game to the Superman returns movie. It also came out at the end of the Xbox and ps2. I am starving for a Superman game

A concern I have, even if fortune smiles upon us and the game is good or comes out at all, is all the idi0ts who will just say "woke" because you play as a woman and will not buy the game. Worried about this for whatever movies or shows she might have coming in James Gunn's DCU also. She deserves more than that. The woke bs is so aggravating. The m0rons pushing forced and hamfisted stuff in media dont see how it's actually hurting their goal, and the anti-woke crowd juct cry "woke" even if there's nothing woke. Everyone needs to chill. But they wont. There's also the issue of Wonder Woman not having been given the same love Batman and Superman have over the years. No animated show at all, ever. Two live action movies since being created in the 40s, first of which only came out in 2017. 2 0 1 7!!! Two iffy animated films with characters acting out of character. Not even any truly iconic and identifiable stories in the comics. There are some that come close, but nowhere near Batman and Supermans' stories. There's been no cultivation of support or love for Diana, despite being touted as one of DC's "trinity" with Batman and Superman. So many people dont even know what she can do. Some people dont even know she can fly. One of my co-workers thought she was a normal woman, not an amazon. Most iconic and first female superhero, but no one really knows her or thinks of her because DC never really gave them a reason to. The Lynda Carter Wonder Woman show in the 70s was a good start, but there was just nothing after that to maintain or build that public interest in the character. I'll never forgive DC for that tbh, I still f with them because I love their characters but they've done Diana so dirty for so long, and continue to. Batman just got the caped crusader animated series, Batman always has stuff. Superman just got season 2 of MAWS. Wonder Woman?? Nothing, we get more Harley Quinn, Kite Man series gets greenlit, now Deadman's series gets greenlit. Nothing against those characters, but It's insulting and a joke at this point. DC trinity is a fck'n lie.

One big thing id like for both DC and Marvel is to Give supervillains a solo singleplayer experience. I imagine alot of the bigger superheroes are going to get turned into games first and thats fine. But Id love to play the supervillain in these universes every now and then too. With superpowers being a big focus it would be interesting to explore the darker side of powers. There are also alot of villains that are interesting and i think can work in having a narrative and gameplay around them. Theres alot of potential to explore villainy in deep complex ways that i believe haven’t really been explored in the superhero game’s genre in awhile.

Now that Kevin Conroy is gone they need to leave the Arkhamverse alone. It's time for other DC heroes to get the spotlight. Let Batman rest he's carried DC long enough. Let Insomniac make a Superman game. They are perfect for it. I mean MJ is basically just Lois Lane in the Spider-Man games. Let Insomniac cook.

I truly hope this means that we can finally get new DC games about characters other than Batman or the Suicide Squad in the long term future. Countless characters deserve single-player solo games that genuinely care about the characters. Could you imagine a Superman, Green Lanter, Flash, Green Arrow, Justice League, Teen Titans etc... and so many other characters have so much potential to have their own unique games under different game developers

Although I disagree with several points you made about New 52 and Man of steel superman, as those interpretations of the characters are my favorite's and always will be, however I'm glad not only to agree with you but also to find another person that doesn't 100% hate the new 52, synderverse and other modern superman takes. I'm happy to see people are waking up and talking about this with superman fans, I use to think I was the only one who saw how superman fans just wanted the same thing over and over again in the form of a silver age Christopher Reve happy go lucky character but now people are finally seeing it too so thank you for making this video.
