Thanks for the Video! Really interesting to see the minor but apparent downsides of the 90hz screen highlighted -- I'd not seen that mentioned yet elsewhere. Also, I hope you're right about the Deck 2 having OLED out of the gate, as I plan on using my launch SD until then.

Thanks for the video! I think you're the first person that tells about this problem!

I don't think people realize how much increasing the screen image quality a significant account makes EVERY game better to some degree. Performance improvements can help with some games, same with battery life etc if those are the bottlenecks. But screen quality if it's a big enough jump really is the biggest upgrade you can often do. Upgrading my desktop to a QD OLED monitor breathed life into old and new games.

Is there a way to use the community created layouts offered on steam when playing on a rog ally?

Did you end buying the deck with the glossy screen or etched one?

This is the 512GB OLED with the glossy screen - hence why you can see my reflection so clearly! 😂

    Hey, great video.
Have you noticed any other differences in PoE with the OLED version?
I'm getting myself one next week and just curious to know.

I've done some juiced maps, and performance felt about the same.
At some point I'm planning to make another video where I try the most demanding endgame content, and see if there's a difference between the original and OLED - but that'll have to wait until some time after Affliction launch!

@@PatrickHatTrickGaming Looking forward to this! Also what poe build are you running for affliction? Kinda looking into builds lately that would feel great on controller gameplay vs m&k

There's no reason why automatic FPS/Hz adjustment isn't a feature.
