@@Nites2k it’s just an uncommon rare commodity that needs specific BGS requirements in order to be available. Additionally, the system is a player group HQ, they have inadvertently made this commodity incredibly difficult to obtain due to the BGS requirements. It’s only in stock for a short period of time, so feel free to pick up some Wolf Fesh during its limited availability if you’re interested in collecting this rare commodity.

Nanomam is my home system, that was crazy to hear
EIC was the inspiration to free up rares in the game such as Wolf Fesh, I know because i was a part of Operation Opium Wars where we ask permission to temporarily change the controlling faction to one that has a government that is compatible with the sale of such rares. Once enough of the rares were bought, we would return the previous controlling faction and ensured it be returned to its previous state.

Gametime allowing, I definitely would love to do some T8 hauling. I am interested to see how PP works out. it has never been anything I played for more than a week or two, so it will be interesting to get more benefit out of gameplay other than access to modules. Really looking forward to the Mandalay though. Awesome video you two.

Needs an Odessy style update it's due. I would pay for the addon. Dev's have bills, and kids too.
It would be nice to see a surface conflict zone with more then one settlement to control.
It would give the players a reason to use all the cool vehicles in ground combat.
3:54 As a CMDR who had never up until now touched Odyssey engineering, but has G5'd ships, I can say that I still absolutely detest suit and weapon engineering. My spouse and I have been doing various missions (for mat rewards and raiding the mission settlements) for about 2 weeks now and seeing all the red "you still need these required materials..." mats in EDOMH after all this time and so, so, SO many missions just feels like a time vampire. The engineering overhaul really needed to go further :( Even simply just decreasing the number of materials needed for various modules and upgrades would have made for a much bigger improvement.
@@Thorned_Rose the engineering revamp DID decrease the materials needed for on for engineering.
@@TheBuurPit No argument there. The improvement is why I'm doing it now. I'm forwarding the case that it don't go far enough and that Odyssey engineering (to someone who's never done it before) still feels egregious, despite the improvements.

But my question is; how is it possible in your videos in your background that you dont have any jagged edges? The anti-aliasing for me in this game is absolutely terrible... Is there something i can do to make it look as smooth as in your video?
I do still get them, but certain places are worse than others. I have everything set to Ultra on my graphics, then SMAA for the AA, and x1.25 supersampling (sadly I cant put that any higher as it crashes my framerate), if that helps you at all :)

ED needs to change to UNREAL 5.X engine and come out with ED-2.0 We need cities and trees and life out there to explore. And a banking and stock system. and keep the VR!

I'm sorry but did I get this right, there's an "festival" event that's FOR drugs/drug usage in the game? Is that correct?
The drugs are a rare commodity. The further away from their system of origin they are sold, the more money they are worth.
The factions involved just do it for the giggles.
The festival aspect is purely player driven .. This isn't an officially sanctioned, in-game event.
How can we have questions when we don't know what the plan is in regards to PP2.0?
I've not played since carriers dropped. I really enjoyed tritium trade while it was hot but then quit after they nerfed it heavily. I've been wanting to get back in, but I'm hesitant. Now for the first time I have VR... But I'm hearing it's not so good anymore in Elite Dangerous.
Should I get odyssey? Should I not bother trying VR? And who should I seek out for help in game?
You quit because they "nerfed" tritium? Why didn't you just trade something else? Also, have you seen that the game offers content beyond tritium trading?
@@cmdrandreyuenari4150 I couldn't find anything nearly as lucrative. Also my friend was trading with me and the change happened before he could catch up to me in ship upgrades. So he quit. That was the nail in the coffin. But other things stacked up too. Like I had bought some hardware for better controls but they ended up being ergonomically inconvenient.

I recognized that it was an imbalance so I understood why they corrected it. I just didn't have the time to spend on the game.
Why is that hard to understand?
@@Josephkerr101I mean I expressed this a bit harsh, but there are many ways in this game to make money. Even for beginners and also for experienced players. I would say if you give the game another chance and take a closer look, you will probably find some nice activities you and your friend can do together.
As I have been banned from the forums, could some please ask when or if we will start seeing NPC flying and using the new ships at some point and when can we expect to start to see NPC in game start to use custom paint and the available ARX ship kits.
We need ship interiors.

@@_Jay_Maker_FDev mentioned in a live stream they are considering it. Better test with open only, and if this fails, they can still add all modes.
@@larrydlamwith PPlay 1.0, players can influence systems with other players having a direct way to intervene. Only by playing the background simulation. Open only would allow for more player interactions.
And open isn’t that bad as ppl say. Playing open only with my alt character since Odyssey dropped. Had more meaningful interactions than ever.
@@raymobula I play open but it seem that when the system is taken by a faction they don't want to monitor and defend it. I don't do bgs and only align with a power to get the goodies. I would think that a faction would monitor the siders to see if something is going on to defend and not just take the system and move on. I would like to see more of the players defend their actions as opposed to just "take it and move on". Like I said, I don't do bgs but that's my two cents.

They'll never add that, it would be way too difficult with the current engine

I have a question... why can't Frontier development get their heads out of their asses and release it on console? And before everyone jumps in telling me just to buy a pc, I already own one and you are obviously missing the historical point
If you're genuinely looking for an answer... I don't think anyone's "head is up their ass"...I think it's likely a number of factors, but predominantly economics. The costs involved in making odyssey work on a console, likely don't hold up against the return they'll get from the number of players on those platforms plus the inherent costs of publishing to those same platforms. But I'm no expert obviously.
The one foot game is still so garbage tho why is that the engine or some ?
On foot gameplay works really well for me and it's a lot of fun. I don't see what the issue is.
@@cmdrandreyuenari4150 it runs fine it just looks like I’m playing something from the 80s kinda feels like it at times too just not as smooth as a lot of other things like FPS and I’ve been with the game since the 2nd month of it’s official release so I know it was never intended to have space legs but it’s soooooo bland feeling

All i want is that iam able to stand up from my Seat and walk around in my ships.
And then what exactly? It will become even less interesting than walking around the FC, and worse: you need to pilot the ship and handle the interdiction.
That would be a lot of work for a useless feature.
Easy: for immersion. I can not count the times that i just wanted to stand on one of the side windows on the bridge of my anaconda and just look out to the stars. And whatever helps immersion in a game is not useless. My opinion.
@@TheEmmetdocbrown I'm not sure if all the work necessary would be worth it because the majority of players would look at their ship's inside for a few minutes and then just continue doing what they've always been doing. Maybe the time is better invested in new content.
