  • In this video, we're going to be building the trumpeter kv2 tank of the ww2 russian beast. This tank was a unique and powerful piece of equipment during the war, and we're going to model it accurately using the same welding seam techniques that were used to build it.
This is a challenging project, but the final product will be worth it. We'll be using the same techniques that were used to build the real tank, and the end result will be a realistic and accurate replica of the trumpeter kv2 tank of the ww2 russian beast. Ready to get started?
the kv2 gets built and prepared for a ww2 diorama of this massive russian tank
i add armour texture and welding details to the model to make it more realistic
brass grab handles and link and length tracks make this model even more life like

That’s coming along nicely, looking forward to part two. I like your diorama idea too.

£22 sounds a real bargain for this beast! Looking forward to seeing it painted up

Great looking tank and build so far looking forward to the painting stage in the next video. Scalemates say this is a 2005 new tooling 👍

its a decent kit in all honesty and super cheap
for 2005 tooling its a nice kit and makes up half decent

I did the Trumpeter KV-1 Model 1939 a couple of years ago. With a set of metal tracks and heavy weathering, it looks the business. Only cost around £20 too. I have this one in my stash and a couple of sets of tank rider figures to add on.

i didnt expect the kit to be as good as it was due mainly to the cost of it
i would probably buy some metal tracks if i did another or the kv1 because those links are a pain with the sink and raised marks
